But I got the hang of it pretty quickly. The perspective of the game uses circles to make it look like (to me) a tunnel with your ship near the center ring. The object is to stop the enemies from getting into the circle. You can hold down the screen to stand still and shoot rapidly or tap; every time you tap to shoot your ship changes direction (it's constantly moving). I gets tricky to hit those little ships, but it's fun to play and you get used to the game mechanics with a little practice. You can unlock new weapons by playing (I've got 3 so far). The colors and graphic style are great in my opinion and this is well worth a dollar. My best score so far is 8200 LordShad0wz Well-Known Member Nov 19, 2014 4,280 1 38 #6 LordShad0wz, Mar 24, 2016 I'm liking this one. I'll have more in depth impressions tomorrow. The quick impression is I'm glad I hit the buy button. I like the gameplay and the art style. It's fun. Deep and long...phew! The controls need some time to get into, no doubt, but once the fast paced turns click with your brain and thumb, your precision/aiming will get better and could infect you with that famous one-more addiction. It did to me. Though there is no screen rotation, you can play this one-hander in portrait- or landscape. Glad i spent that dollar. ROGER-NL Well-Known Member May 21, 2012 4,030 340 83 Male Gamer. Especially games which (for me) end in less than a minute (that's being generous, I'm pretty bad so far). Games which end as soon as you die feel like they should be free, but I'm not exactly sure why I feel that way, I think maybe because the games are over before I feel really engaged or too attached to it. But hey, $.99 wasn't a bad price.... FRACTURES Well-Known Member Mar 1, 2013 82 3 8 #14 FRACTURES, Mar 24, 2016 Yeah, the music doesn't do the game any favours whatsoever. Sash-O Well-Known Member Feb 13, 2015 1,570 0 0 Germany #19 Sash-O, Mar 25, 2016 The game is good, my high score is 21.500 so far. Ok, the music is not the best, but I've heard worse. I agree with the lives, I'd would like to see another mode with 3 lives or something like that. It's annoying that some of the later enemies are too fast to reach the core, no chance to stop them. And after a few waves all the enemies surround your core moving towards it, so there's no chance to stop them too. I would like to see this level based in a different mode maybe!? pluto6 Well-Known Member Jun 21, 2009 5,837 3 38 Military #20 pluto6, Mar 25, 2016 Last edited: Mar 25, 2016 It is a top tier editors choice on iTunes in the US.
