The controls do fail from time to time. The runs start off rather slow, so a swipe not registering isn't deadly since you'll have enough time to swipe again in most cases. The controls become a problem once the speed ramps up, or when you need to do a quick move (like jumping over something and swiping down to land quickly enough to jump or dodge the next obstacle). It's pretty clear this is just an ad for the movie, and based in that, I can't say this is really that bad of a game. It's free and there are no IAPs or pop up ads at all. Just a cheap game and links to the movie website and trailer on YouTube. Is the game worth downloading? Not if you expect it to be something more than what it is. If you have the expectation of this being an App Store equivalent of a cheap toy you get out of a breakfast cereal box, then you shouldn't be disappointed.
