Looks way better than Radiation Island... trancemanelk Well-Known Member Jul 12, 2015 83 0 0 #3 trancemanelk, Feb 25, 2016 So I bought the game. Pretty disappointed at the moment. First off, the graphics in the game do not look like the graphics in the screen shots. I'm on an iPad Air 2, full resolution etc. The graphics are very choppy. The controls need a ton of work. Even after adjusting the sensitivity, I was walking around as well I had come off a 48 hour binger. The monster looking thing was kicking my ass, and left me no chance of surviving. How do I use the gun? I see a pistol and some bullets, but I can't seem to use them. Please let me know. Regardless, I do appreciate the effort you put forth in this title. You use the gun by sliding it in the boxes on the bottom. Then after you close the menu you can use the items by tapping on the box. To equip clothing you slide it over the character model. I didn't get any graphical issue suggestions from any of my iPad Air 2 Test flight testers, so I might have missed something. My store screen shots are from my test builds with an iPad Air. I have graphical settings that you can adjust on the title screen under the options menu. Try adjusting the resolution or turning off the camera effects. That may help initially. On the top left of the screen are two numbers. One is the FPS. The other is your ping. What is the FPS? Does it fluctuate wildly? Is there bugs? Yes. It has crashed once out of an hour and the biggest issue is enemies sometimes do a disappearing trick, but end up reappearing next to you. Knowing Von, he will work to iron out any major issues. I will add better impressions once I get a few more hours in, but right now I'm getting a forest/dayZ vibe. (feels a lot like Rust) Controls are a bit floaty and could definitely use some polish. (Just have to be a bit more deliberate with wanting to do something and make sure bad guys aren't roaming about when you're figuring out what the menu does and how to do things) My main dislike is that you need to be online all the time to play since it multiplayer only right now Multiplayer servers are "Worlds" and there can only be one world created for each device. (Worlds will stay open for others to play even if the player who created that world stops playing) But you can't edit settings like having password protected worlds or making it where players can't kill each other. Each world map is the same but things like buildings are randomly generated. For the price I would say it definitely worth it. I took some screenshots while playing on my iPhone 5 (graphic fidelity doesn't look as good as the appstore pics but it still runs smooth) http://www.imgur.com/a/K9vl9 barefootdragon Well-Known Member May 21, 2015 78 0 0 #18 barefootdragon, Mar 1, 2016 I'm buying it.
