But I'm always a tad reluctant when I see promo codes. I'll just have to pick it up and give er a go. It seemed that all I did was tap, wait for something to fill up (food, coins or wood/building supplies), tap again. Tap the next section..... I figured that I would just stop playing. Then I thought; no... I will play more levels because I could see the hard work and detail that the dev put into this high quality looking game. Seriously....there really is a lot of creative detail and work here. Right? At first, I wasn't going to begin my review the way I did. But, I know that other players might feel the same way and not give the game a fair chance before leaving a low rating and deleting. And; that would be sad. So, that being said; I played on. And; I am glad that I did. The beginning levels are teaching you and getting you ready for other levels. You do have to manage your time and figure out what area to work on first. The later levels in the game have so much more going on. And; there are these thieves that run (seriously run) to try and steal your resources. Those little thieving jerks are so funny! If your character grabs the item before the thief does, the thief actually throws his hands in the air in exasperation! LOL!! Specific things have to be completed in the level to open other areas in the level. Also, there is a puzzle piece to look for in each level as well. There is plenty of levels. Especially because you can play the game at one experience level and then go back and play them again to earn more, at a harder level. The game will remind you that you can do this. The characters are cute. They look like little people. (You should all be ashamed of yourselves for running those servants ragged by working then so hard! He he) Needless to say; I am in love with 12 Labours of Hercules II: The Cretan Bull. ludka33 Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2013 217 0 16 #5 ludka33, Mar 23, 2016 So, this question may get deleted for being off topic, but to whomever makes these things happen: why is this games consistently on my "hot games" list with only three comments in 2 months? Is this some sort of glitch or something? OrangeKnickers Well-Known Member Dec 17, 2013 53 0 0 #6 OrangeKnickers, Mar 24, 2016 I had exactly the same question in mind. This was also the case with that genial santa clause game that remained in the list for weeks on end. I think that in this world of so many gamers, that sometimes the game gets many comments and sometimes hardly any at all. Developers sometimes have to work hard to get noticed. Sometimes it's just luck, I guess.... Considering that the Core Gameplay Mechanics of all those Games are pretty much the same and all you have to do is find out in what Order you have to play through a Mission without loosing to much time wasted 12 Labours of Hercules II: The Cretan Bull from the Team at JetDogs does a pretty decent job without actually boring you too much if you are into those kind of Games. Here and there you will find a small interesting twist in the Gameplay that will force you to adapt your thinking but besides that it`s pretty much the same of what you would expect from a Game of this Genre. This isn`t bad at all since there are still enough out there that enjoy those kind of Games and who am I to judge those as long as they get what they want and even more then that considering that his is already the second Game in this Franchise and a third Game is already too on it`s way if I hadn`t read it wrong on the Website of the Developer. As I had already mentioned managing your Co-Worker and trying to make them work the most efficient is your primary goal while at the same time watching that time clock to make sure you don`t waste too much time with unneeded work or a bad routing that might totally get you out of your concept and lead in the longer run to the need of a rerun of a Level if you are always aiming for three Stars in each single Level. Conclusion: JetDogs 12 Labours of Hercules II: The Cretan Bull won`t win a price for innovation but I`m pretty sure that this was never their Goal so pretending the Game does not deliver what the describtion does list on the AppStore would be kinda harsh. The Game is exactly would you would expect from a Game in the Genre and there are here and there Secret Goals and hidden Items in the Game to collect so there is plenty to do for those that are up for a challenge. That it pretty much what I could encounter after the first hour with the Game and if you are looking for another Time Management Game to spent your time with you pretty much can`t go wrong with 12 Labours of Hercules II: The Cretan Bull since it gives you exactly what you would expect from it. Rating: 4/5 Time Clocks * *= Those kind of Games aren`t really my beloved Genre but I can still see that the Team from JetDogs really tried to create a nice Game so I tried to rate it fair and not act as if it would be a crappy Game just because it doesn`t belong to one of my favorite Genre. If you you hate those kind of Games please remove one Time Clock and see the Game as if it would be a straight 3/5. If you enjoy playing those Games you can`t really make anything wrong with it since the Game is as already explained solid and I had encountered no technical issues while I was playing the Game for around one hour and a bit more.
