About gameplay, is it because you don't like endless runners or you don't like something about Waste in Space's specific gameplay? We'd like to hear players' feedback to improve the game as much as possible. NOEN Well-Known Member Jul 31, 2012 3,245 0 0 U.S. #9 NOEN, Feb 28, 2016 This one was a sleeper hit for me. It's actually really good once you get the hang of it. Best way to describe it is a vertical Hanger World with shooting and collecting. It takes a few for the game to warm up to you. There is a lot going on, but once you figure it out, it's a pretty good game. MoonyBaboon Well-Known Member Nov 11, 2014 73 0 0 Italy #10 MoonyBaboon, Feb 28, 2016 Hi NOEN, thanks for your comment! Other players had an experience very similar to yours, especially the "There is a lot going on, but once you figure it out..." part. As you can imagine this is an issue with a f2p casual game: it's crucially important that the game is enjoyable from the start, otherwise the player will probably drop it and never play it again. Maybe we should avoid the shooting in the first ranks, to let players understand the swing mechanic before adding the tapping one. The one touch control scheme actually works perfectly and you can pull off combos and zap the trash and swing around! It's a really fun game! The physics and rag doll effects are great! I love the artwork too! I think the only thing I don't care for are the hats. I like their stats but they are way too huge and cover up your character. I was going to buy the tin man because of the stats and the cool look but the hats just cover half his body. Is there a way we could hide a hat but have the stats? How do I even deactivate the hats I can't even remove them. Argh. Billy MoonyBaboon Well-Known Member Nov 11, 2014 73 0 0 Italy #12 MoonyBaboon, Feb 28, 2016 Hi Billy, we're really glad you like it! There is an invisible hat just for that purpose, look for it in the gravity hat selection screen. There's also an invisible character: Mr Hide! I'm sorry you can't hide the gravity hats at the moment, anyway we will think about their size... maybe we could make them a little smaller, at least some of them. Thank you for your feedback! Marco LordShad0wz Well-Known Member Nov 19, 2014 4,280 1 38 #13 LordShad0wz, Feb 29, 2016 I've been playing a lot. It's actually a really great game. More people need to play this. I do have a request. The hat that increases the coins, please have it apply to all hats so that we can wear our favorite ones and not feel like we are wasting a purchase? I really can't get over the physics. Seriously you guys nailed it. The one touch controls really are pretty perfect. We'd really like it to be played by as many players as possible: fingers crossed for a TA review, almost impossible but you never know.. Just for reference, the PiggyBank hat makes you earn 5 coins for each collected coin and doubles the coins earned through gifts and rewards. Same thing for the Scrooge character, and if you own both you earn 10 coins for each collected coin and triples gifts and rewards. PiggyBank hat and Scrooge character are the only two items not available in the prize machine. To get the ones with the better stats in the prize machine a higher rank is required, and for that you need to complete objectives. About the control scheme: I'm happy that you like it, I spent a lot of time tweaking it . We wanted a one touch experience for the game to be playable with one hand, but we also wanted to give it some depth and variety, so we added the tap to shoot and boost mode controls. We hope to have got the balance just right. LordShad0wz Well-Known Member Nov 19, 2014 4,280 1 38 #16 LordShad0wz, Feb 29, 2016 You REALLY need to put this information in the game. I don't see this said anywhere and I can tell you had I known this I would have purchased that hat right off the bat. I ran out of ads and was earning basically no coins for over an hour. And just to tell you I hate ads. That's how much I like your game. I normally pay to dump ads because I hate them. I hate they use my data. I hate my time wasted. But in games that I like, especially if the devs are nice people, I'll go out of my way to watch opt in ads to get the rewards. To be honest what network did you go with because I really didn't watch that many before it said there were no more ads. I didn't notice it switch to a second network. Did you guys pick a secondary network? You are missing out on revenue. Billy MoonyBaboon Well-Known Member Nov 11, 2014 73 0 0 Italy #17 MoonyBaboon, Feb 29, 2016 Thanks for the information about running out of ads! We honestly weren't aware of this issue, I guess we really need to setup a secondary network.. By the way, thanks for your support in spite of not liking ads! It's been about 14 hours. That's definitely an issue. I just left a nice 5 star review on the AppStore. It should show up by tomorrow. It's pretty detailed. Billy MoonyBaboon Well-Known Member Nov 11, 2014 73 0 0 Italy #20 MoonyBaboon, Feb 29, 2016 We are already gathering information about implementing a secondary ad network for the next release. Thanks a lot for your review: it's immensely important for little indie studios like ours that satisfied players share their experience on the App Store (and everywhere else really), because the greatest obstacle as a gamedev is getting people to know your game actually exists.
