The black skulls you draw allow you to play other cards. Just double tapping your cards you can read what each one does and if you have played CCG's before you will figure things out quickly but I still think a tutorial would be nice especially for those that are new to this type of game. ojtitus Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2010 3,228 5 38 Male Canton, Ohio #10 ojtitus, Feb 18, 2016 A premium CCG, YES PLEASE and Thank You devs for taking this route and not the popular freemium route. Obviously bought and best of luck with launch. PBSNellie Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2013 1,381 168 63 Southern CA #11 PBSNellie, Feb 18, 2016 It is a little clumsy getting started withou a tutorial or instructions but if you play any card games you can instinctively start picking up the play. The graphics are pretty good considering it's not universal. Not bad and it can only get better with some tweaking. Talbs Well-Known Member May 1, 2011 2,616 377 83 #12 Talbs, Feb 18, 2016 Waiting for some imps. Simply because where I'm from apple thinks $5 is the new $3, and that just isn't in my buy and test range. Wonder how much this price hike apple has done is actually reducing sales. Anyway. Await the imps! currymutton Well-Known Member Oct 16, 2008 4,430 1 0 #13 currymutton, Feb 18, 2016 How is the game play actually? Tinsel Well-Known Member Dec 8, 2008 508 5 18 #14 Tinsel, Feb 18, 2016 Is this portrait only (I'm thinking if it's iphone only it probably is). I asked in Upcoming but no answer there. Maybe you'll add landscape when you add Universal? ojtitus Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2010 3,228 5 38 Male Canton, Ohio #15 ojtitus, Feb 18, 2016 Similar to Spectromancer if you remember that one. LordFoul Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jul 15, 2009 579 88 28 Software Developer New Jersey #16 LordFoul, Feb 18, 2016 Yes, it is portrait-only. I will look into landscape mode as well when I work to support iPad. So if I line up a 7 4 creature with a 7 4 creature they don't kill each other in combat ? So far the lack of tutorial is really going to make people that dont play a lot of card games really confused. I play a ton and I'm struggling. Also there needs to be a pathfinding thing added to the movement part of the game(think dream quest ) On the bright side the art is pretty good and I think there will be some cool deck building once you get into it. Love the portrait mode. LordFoul Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jul 15, 2009 579 88 28 Software Developer New Jersey #20 LordFoul, Feb 18, 2016 There is no IAP. All 175 cards are available in the game. You create a character who starts with a basic set of cards, then find new cards to add to your deck as you explore and duel enemies. You can buy/sell cards at card shops and even forge cards by sacrificing other cards. There are card shops in each town and in dungeons, and each town has a forge. Card shops and forges contain random selections of cards, so you may not find every ultra-rare card every time you play through the game. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
