I couldn't get through Rusty Lake Hotel bc the poop sandwich part became too much for me. But this was bizarre and quirky without getting too gross. I was not expecting a few of the scenes but it all played out really nicely. The rusty lake universe is becoming really really interesting. Are there ads in them? triggywiggy Well-Known Member Jan 24, 2010 4,353 2 0 Freelance writer, Student, Casually employed in re Perth, Western Australia #9 triggywiggy, Feb 17, 2016 Technically your video isn't a review, but as you titled it, it is gameplay. I did enjoy watching the video though and it gave me a good insight into the game. TheGreatEscaper Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2014 1,025 22 38 #10 TheGreatEscaper, Feb 17, 2016 No ads, unless you count a facebook/twitter link on the main menu, and telling you what the other games in the series are at the end. As to why they're free? No idea. I guess the dev is either really passionate about sharing his work, is trying to get it noticed by having them free at first (his largest game is premium), or both of the above. I would gladly pay for all of the games in this series, with the exception of perhaps Lake and Harvey's Box which were both underwhelmingly short. But the dev has come a long way from those first few games and I don't even look at the price tag anymore. My review was that I enjoyed it and didn't quit in the middle like I did with Rusty Lake Hotel. coderkid Well-Known Member Nov 5, 2010 540 2 18 #12 coderkid, Feb 24, 2016 Rusty Lake Hotel was great! Why'd you skip it? AppUnwrapper Well-Known Member Oct 26, 2011 4,062 3 0 http://www.appunwrapper.com/escape-games/ #13 AppUnwrapper, Feb 24, 2016 I didn't skip it. I just got tired of feeding Mr Boar his own poop. :/ Alex Wolf Well-Known Member Dec 5, 2010 585 3 18 #14 Alex Wolf, Feb 24, 2016 ###good one Sash-O Well-Known Member Feb 13, 2015 1,570 0 0 Germany #15 Sash-O, Feb 25, 2016 I've played the first entry of their series and it was great! Highly recommended and they are all for free! When I'm through with these games, I will buy Rusty Lake Hotel! You can consider our premium work (Rusty Lake Hotel) as a Kickstarter, so we can just keep doing what we do. Thanks for the support on this forum! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
