Add to that custom, inhouse designed lightning and parallax effects, along with a dedicated awesome Soundtrack and original storyline, we hope you will enjoy your stay! Planned out as a trilogy, experience the first episode also known as the Reveal, which will be followed by Revolution and Revelations accordingly. Welcome to the Omni-Care sanctioned city. The world as we know it has come to an end and a New Order has taken over. Life is seemingly perfect, in an almost utopian society humans have to officialy schedule their whole days in advance via "ports" - mandatory cybernetic implants. Large commercial entities who also happen to be port manufacturers have replaced governments and crime is practically non existent. You are the hero of this exciting cyberpunk tale, about to start a regular day, only for it to unfold in the most unexpected manner revealing the true nature of the multi-layered city. Featuring: -A unique, carefully planned out story and lore: It is important to remember that you are thrown into a world of specific rules, laws, customs, lingo, social segregation etc which you will learn and unravel in time along the way. -Old school gameplay: meaning little to no handholding. We wanted to give the player the choice of freedom and to discover and unravel the story at their own pace, hence Sinless offers little to no handholding. Therefore many features or lore related backstories/explanations are not thrown in your face. Instead they are somewhere in the world, waiting to be discovered; be it a feature, easter-egg/game reference, or world news event etc. But fear not, optional hints highlighting interactive points will be available from the get-go. -Hand crafted with love: Thousands of frames of hand crafted animations, graphics, textures and other assets. We put a lot of effort and attention to the lore and story as well as the general vibe- that the graphics and soundtrack complement themselves to create the desired tone. -A fitting and engaging dynamic Original Soundtrack by Roland Redwood, designed and tailored specifically for the game. -Game Over: when we said "old school" experience we were dead serious. You will die...alot. Well, maybe not that much as in the Souls series, but unless you are a point n' click pro, an unexpected end to your journey will be commonplace. Heck, we even took it a level further where discovering all possible endgames is a feature and accomplishment within itself. Luckily there's a checkpoint system which will take you back to the last safe point. And fear not, we left it at that (so no trolling in the vein of which some old school classics are notorious for ie AITD where you could break a mandatory quest item at the very begining of the game)... but we never can be sure of what the future may bring... ;) -Easter egss & references. Yup, we got that covered. Sinless is a love letter to classic games, systems and news, both old and new. Rise of the Dragon, Dredd (2013), Deus Ex, Dark Souls, Sleeping Dogs.... the list goes on and on. Will you find them all? -Stay safe Citizen. And don't forget to install your scheduled Progs! It includes most of the changes of the recently released Steam version. @tp015657 : regarding Rise of the Dragon, besides the overall playstyle (2D graphics from a first person perspective and various other nods), I think you ought to be pleasantly surprised by one of the earliest possible gameovers. They are from the Steam version, nonetheless the mobile version is practically identical-the major difference is the control input: on the PC you have a visible mouse cursor which changes to indicate interactive points or exits when you hover over them. On mobiles it is a bit harder, since visibility of onteractive points depends on the clicking the "hints" tab which will highlight interactive points and exits on a scene every 20-30 seconds. First 10 minutes It's worth noting that the game practically lacks any handholding and requires a lot of reading and patience in order to discover all the plot and lore relations, so if you are the kind of gamer who doesn't like going through a lot of text, there is a high chance you will not enjoy Sinless. However those who prefer storytelling in the vein of darksouls/bloodborne ought to be pleasantly surprised: beneath a seemingly simple story, you will find a multilayered plot, just don't expect the game to find it for you Regardless of all this Sinless is first and foremost designed to be an immersive experience/adventure: playing with a good set of stereo headphones highly recommended. MGP Studios Active Member Dec 20, 2014 40 0 0 #10 MGP Studios, Feb 14, 2016 The core game/storyline is very similar although the new version has quite a bit of new features. I'll list most of them below: -new NPC's and dialogues. Some of which will provide more insight on the lore/plot relations, some everyday chitchat and more. As with the core game, some of the dialogues are hidden away, so you have to expirement to open up different options. - new interaction points/points of interest. As above, some will provide more insight, whilst others will offer general options. -Lot's of new graphics and animations. The original mobile release was considered a good looking game, but when it was supposed to be ported to Steam it was obvious the graphics/assets of the mobile version woudln't cut it on PC's and majority had to be either remade for high res or completely redone. This includes new artwork, textures, post effects, new attacks and post effects for ghostface, etc.... So summarising, the remastered version-although adapted for mobiles, also uses the Steam version assets-so I think it's safe to state that it looks better -New options in the setting tab: * new 3x2 and 16x9 aspect ratios. Sinless was designed orignally in a 4X3 format. All scenes have been remade and had their layouts adjusted to the 3x2 and 16x9 aspect ratios. Word of warning that 16x9 on the smallest screens (like ip5) might be a bit tricky, since the interactive points and tags are proporitonally smaller. * Scrolling speed setting: Some players were not fond of the predefined scrolling settings so now you can change the overall scrolling speed to your own liking. However, as stated in the settings, this will most likely have an impact on immersion, so the "varied" scrolling setting is recommended for at least the first playthrough. -Achievements: a pretty varied set, some for progressing the plot, some for finding a hidden feature/dialogue/easteregg/gameover and so on. ___ Word of warning: Anything lower than iphone5 will be unstable. Ipad mini(gen1) for example: it will be possible to complete the game, although Ghostface will not be playable to due lack of memory and the main game will have longer load times and prone to audio bugs/crashes. ___ Hope this helps, let me know if you'd like any more info.
