There is even a nice little story to discover with some trippy new backgrounds. But only if you stick to it. While I had actually played the game a considerable amount of time, I kept on dying early on and didn't really bother with the upgrades and unlocking stuff. You really do have to stick with it to actually appreciate it. There's so much attention to detail that doesn't come across if you haven't unlocked stuff...and actual progression? O_O Who would've thought? I had watched the trailer, but forgot that there are even different stages until I survived long enough. Maybe there's more, but it seems like the stages just rotate between the three? Probably two of my favorite runs took place in the stadium. In one, the scoreboard was just a giant BSOD. In the other, there were at least four footballs on the field at once, and it was sheer madness. I have been playing online, but I'm not seeing ads. Not sure what that's all about, though. There's a prompt, in the game itself that asks 'Do you want to sign in'. I hit the check mark confirming that I do. And nothing happens. I checked to make sure GC was working with other games. It's not the money but the principle that I have an issue with.
