Wow, this is our first game and you guys seem to love it! We're so thrilled! Indeed, there's an infinite amount of puzzles, that's why it's called Open Bar. Think of the $1,99 as the cover charge. Once you're in, you play as much as you want! Thanks for your support! ShinHadoukin Well-Known Member Feb 20, 2015 972 143 43 #13 ShinHadoukin, Jan 28, 2016 Love the game!!! I am so glad it seems to be doing well!!!! Is there a way to turn off hints? Thanks metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #14 metalcasket, Jan 28, 2016 Any sort of colorblind now? This looks great! ShinHadoukin Well-Known Member Feb 20, 2015 972 143 43 #15 ShinHadoukin, Jan 29, 2016 The app describes this as a full access premium game. It goes on to say, use a hint at any time. Well, if you hit the hint button you can pay credits or watch a video. If I have no credits then I cannot use a hint at any time unless I watch a video. That really takes away from this being what it says it is. CarlosR Member Jan 29, 2016 17 0 0 #16 CarlosR, Jan 29, 2016 Congratulations to the devs, i love the game, music, graphics, art direction. The mechanic is really clever. I would like an easier way to select finished levels. Eager to see more from this studio. gingearstudio Member Dec 29, 2015 16 0 0 #17 gingearstudio, Jan 29, 2016 Thanks! In the first few levels, hints are displayed automatically to help players understand the game mechanics. After level 15, you'll have to manually ask for a hint (in other words, they're off by default). I hope this answers your question! gingearstudio Member Dec 29, 2015 16 0 0 #18 gingearstudio, Jan 29, 2016 That's a good question. For now, we don't have a colorblind mode, but this is an important feature we want to support in a future version. I'll put that on the most-wanted features list. Thanks for your feedback! gingearstudio Member Dec 29, 2015 16 0 0 #19 gingearstudio, Jan 29, 2016 It was important for us that players would never be blocked on a particularly hard puzzle. That's why we've added hints in the first place. But we felt it would be kind of too easy if there wasn't any consequence on using a hint. This is the reason why the preferred way to get a hint is to spend in-game credits (which are otherwise used in the game progression to unlock new skins). When players are out of credits, the fallback is to watch an ad. We thought players would find that acceptable, and I'm really sorry to hear you don't like it. Besides making hints 100% free (without using credits nor ads), would you have a suggestion about how we could improve the player's experience? gingearstudio Member Dec 29, 2015 16 0 0 #20 gingearstudio, Jan 29, 2016 Thanks! I agree the level selector could be improved. If you keep the next or previous button down, the levels will start scrolling faster and faster, but it's not as good as it could be. We'll improve that in a future release. Thanks for your feedback! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
