I really like the game mechanics and overall feel of the game. It almost feels (collecting, social hub, crafting,...) and looks like if it was a f2p game and I think this could easily be transformed into one if it isnt doing well with the actual price tag. I really want to buy this but I'm not sure man... coolpepper43 ð® Spam Police ð Aug 31, 2012 4,615 7 38 On the toilet #8 coolpepper43, Jan 26, 2016 They wouldn't transform this into f2p when they already have that released: Repulsa Well-Known Member Jul 3, 2015 1,584 81 48 #9 Repulsa, Jan 27, 2016 I love the idea of a game like this that is usually f2p going premium. Fun game so far If you like fast-paced turn-based battles in a fantasy setting, from my first impressions I can definitely recommend this. The only minor quibble I have is that the amount of loot available right from the start is quite overwhelming. I find it rather difficult to judge/compare items against each other. Will need more time with the game to get the hang of things. For now, I am almost completely holding back on forging, but rely on found items instead. Also, as forging is quite expensive, I spend my gold on buying powerups first. And I really like the fact that this is not f2p, a real joy to just play without getting annoyed by timers, energy and whatnot. Repulsa Well-Known Member Jul 3, 2015 1,584 81 48 #11 Repulsa, Jan 27, 2016 So glad I bought this, very fun! Still trying to figure out the battle board mechanics but I love what I'm seeing so far. There is a ton of loot and lots of customization, pets... The crafting system is really cool I wish more games allowed you to use your old gear to create new instead of just selling it off. As a busy mom on the go I am a big fan of games that you can just pick up and play and come back to whenever so I definitely appreciate that aspect too. Thanks devs Nullzone ð® Spam Police ð Jul 12, 2013 3,669 79 48 Male #12 Nullzone, Jan 27, 2016 Update on how to spend gold: Buying powerups early on was a mistake. I didn't realise those aren't permanent. Instead, you need to use them like potions or scrolls. After one use, they disappear. My new approach is to save as much gold as I can. I fight forward until I cannot complete a 1-star stage. Then I go back and try to complet as many stars per stag as possible, only moving on when I lose. Now and then I check my stuff, if I can forge anything new or found better items to equip. dudecoolguyman Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2013 212 0 0 #13 dudecoolguyman, Jan 27, 2016 Agree with nullzone. Been doing the same. Just keep getting as many stars as possible and then you'll be able to craft new stuff. Really enjoying this! I am slowly getting my Paladin up to the same level as my Valkyrie (I used her as primary character). But compared to how fast Valky leveled, it takes a lot longer when all the early stages are done already. Also, I would appreciate some hints on how to play the Mage. So far I like her the least. Her skills are just not my cup of tea, with all the "does X damage for every tile of Y on the board" . I cannot get her damage output to the level the other two have. mbjones Active Member Sep 14, 2011 38 0 6 Director of Technology Services Cape Town, South Africa http://mbjones.net #18 mbjones, Jan 29, 2016 Wow. Upgrading my Paladin currently, both in levels and equipment. Don't have the time for a more detailed post, so just a basic advise: Check what you need to craft something good. Then look for stages where the needed item is among the loot. Keep playing it until you got what you need. Rinse & repeat for the next item. Pets: The Giant Panda pet seems to be the best so far. But quite a few of the others have special skills like resistance to Magic or Poison, which should come in handy when encountering that kind of enemies. dudecoolguyman Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2013 212 0 0 #20 dudecoolguyman, Jan 29, 2016 It's now become impossible for me to level my other two characters. Not knowing you could not replay the lower levels at the starting level. My valk is level 45. It's turned into a mega grind for gear and I'm having trouble getting any further. The gear isn't allowing me to progress - I've tried many combos (all attack, shields, healing, etc) and in just stuck. Wanted to play lower level characters but they are only 14 and 19 and already the levels (even stage 1-5) are max gold stars and impossible for them to play. I bit frustrated.
