The game needs a better tutorial, it tells you the waterdrop sticks to must surfaces, but it doesn't tell you exactly what surfaces. And sometimes I die and I have no idea why. But the thing what botters me most is that there's a huge kind of gamebreaking bug. I had to restart the level twice because of that, check 17:27 till 19:00 in my video. mzinn Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2014 770 0 16 #3 mzinn, Jan 21, 2016 Thanks for the heads up Touchy85. jetveetlev Well-Known Member Oct 17, 2013 83 0 6 #4 jetveetlev, Jan 21, 2016 It looks beautiful.. but thanks for the info touchy! added this to watchlist. Thanks for downloading Baum and doing a play-through, we really appreciate it. We're aware of that issue and we're gonna fix it ASAP, sorry you came across it! Thanks for the other critique, we'll take it all in and give you a heads up when we feel we've addressed the problem. Thanks everyone! mzinn Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2014 770 0 16 #6 mzinn, Jan 21, 2016 Love when there is an active developer here listening to the feedback & making their game better. Best of luck it certainly looks gorgeous! mzinn Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2014 770 0 16 #7 mzinn, Jan 30, 2016 Went for it after the update. After a few levels it seems fun. I think with the vibe I'm getting a Zen mode would work well. I.e. get rid of that timer. It's not been an issue & maybe never will be but with the beautiful visuals & nice music this just lends itself to zen mode in my mind. Sometimes when something is this visually pleasing I like to take my time & not worry about a timer. But that could just be me. They could have a blast updating this through the years with different elements/bugs/plants that will effect you. This just may be a gem! touchy85 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2015 1,616 1 38 #8 touchy85, Jan 30, 2016 Just downloaded the update and it looks like the bugs are fixed. DanAFWID New Member Jan 21, 2016 2 0 0 #9 DanAFWID, Feb 10, 2016 Cheers for checking it out post-update guys, I meant to come in and let you know it had been fixed but things have been rather hectic! Thanks for the comments mzinn. A "zen" type mode was something we thought about a lot as it clearly fits the aesthetic and feel of the game. We were forced to choose between that and the more traditional "score attack" mode, and decided to focus on replayability and player feedback through the scoring mechanics. It also gets reaaaally hard towards the latter stages: Zen mode ain't as much fun when you're respawning every 10 seconds! Having said that, the next few levels we release for the game will hopefully be a little more suited to that playstyle, so a "zen" mode is something we'll try and get sorted out in the next couple of months. Cheers to everyone that's picked it up so far, and I'll try and remember to come in and update you all when we expand the game! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
