I was initially worried about what seemed like floaty jumping in the trailer that was posted on the front-page a few days ago, but nope...spot-on. GiHubb Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Apr 27, 2010 1,049 39 48 CEO #12 GiHubb, Jan 14, 2016 How are the mechanics of the game? I mean, how does the jumping feel? Platformers live and die by their physics, for example if the jumping is floaty, or the controls not instant then everything else doesn't really matter. So - gameplay comments welcomed by those who took the early dive! Jetjet Well-Known Member May 14, 2010 1,711 0 0 #13 Jetjet, Jan 14, 2016 Any idea for how long this game is ? Echoseven Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze Jul 19, 2011 6,091 270 83 The red Skittle #14 Echoseven, Jan 14, 2016 The controls are fine. The only "problem" I had is the reorientation on smaller planetoids and running around the small circumference. You move fairly quickly and there's a slight heave and a lurch in my head as the world spins and reorients. I haven't gone to space yet, so I can't comment on those parts. The length, as far as I can tell from fairly early on, is guided by how much you like collectibles and exploring. There's no real quest log, objective tracker or guide of any kind, so chances are you'll occasionally get lost and have to explore on your own. If that doesn't sound appealing on any level, this game won't be for you. The main story (from what I've gathered so far) is "go out into the world and find a way to save our sun", so the exploration and collectibles play right into that. guinea Member Nov 27, 2013 7 0 0 #15 guinea, Jan 14, 2016 iOS 7 Developers here. Apologies, but Momoka should never have been installable on iOS 7, it uses features of iOS only available from iOS 8 onwards. It was only possible due to an incorrect entry in the configuration, and we are pushing an update now to correct that and ensure it is only installable on iOS 8 and onwards. I have also made a note on the iTunes page in the meantime. Momoka runs great on iOS 8 and later. guinea Member Nov 27, 2013 7 0 0 #16 guinea, Jan 14, 2016 Developers here. Playtime for an "average" first-time player is 5 - 6 hours for the main story, with probably an hour or two more for 100% completion. The early gameplay videos seem to support that. Like all metroidvanias though it is great for speedrunning, something we had a lot of fun with during the testing. boosum New Member Dec 31, 2015 2 0 0 #17 boosum, Jan 14, 2016 The graphic reminds me of Supernaut by Grand Cru.
