I just hope they fixed the issue of getting stuck in a gameplay loop. touchy85 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2015 1,616 1 38 #5 touchy85, Jan 13, 2016 Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Got mixed feelings about this one. I keep playing it, but I think that's because I'm into the genre. It's a bit like the Kairosoft games, most of the times you're watching the game play itself and wait for special events. When you're fighting you can't take direct control, you can select skills and then you watch the fight. Sometimes these fights can take minutes and because they're not really interactive, it's kind of dull. Between fights you can work to make money and then spend the money on training. It really really reminds me of The Sims, Sleep-Eat-Work-Level your Skills-Relax and repeat. tinyBuild Well-Known Member Mar 23, 2011 170 4 18 #6 tinyBuild, Jan 13, 2016 Indeed sir that has been fixed! Your first few fights work fine but once you hit the point where you need more than 4 points in a stat to keep up, the grind is just brutal. Mainly it's the "happiness" factor. Can't effectively train when you're unhappy. Can't train without money. Work to get money. Work makes you unhappy. Hang out with friends to be happy, lose your stats because you aren't working out. Get hungry while hanging out, use money on food. Eat food. Work out. Manage to get one point in a stat. Broke. Also agility builds are too good compared to strength builds. With strength, the cost of your abilities rises exponentially compared to your damage output and a majority of your opponents have ways to cut off your stamina regen. At a certain turning point, only agility builds seem to work out and any other? You're literally screwed. It's so hard to love this game in its current state. I'm not trying to gut sales out but I just want the devs to hear me out. Balance this game a little better and it'll be perfect. At the moment I'm just accepting a boxer's life - lonely, exhausting, and tedious. The game provides an accurate simulation of this aspect jsrco Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Oct 15, 2009 2,134 1 38 Coordinator Seattle https://www.Fatthunder.com #17 jsrco, Jan 14, 2016 Some people live on fixed incomes. tinyBuild Well-Known Member Mar 23, 2011 170 4 18 #18 tinyBuild, Jan 14, 2016 The game's definitely very hardcore as it is right now, but it's more than possible to do strength and stamina builds. It just takes patience. I'm not yet sure if we'll do 1 to 1 balancing from Steam's current build -- behaviors of players are different on different platforms. Was looking forward to this on iOS but I have wildly different behaviors to exhibit on different platforms. Really, you're kidding yourselves and revenue will suffer if this is what you've convinced yourselves is true. Also, it seems illogical and counter intuitive to think mobile gamers are going to play for extra long sessions as opposed to Pc or console gamers who average well longer sessions. Sorry but that logic makes zero sense. Smh & Rofl. Eh, no response? RinoaHeartily Well-Known Member Dec 12, 2010 1,715 10 38 #20 RinoaHeartily, Jan 14, 2016 Is this game similar to the movie creed?
