The game play that I have seen looks like their are stages that are SRPG and some that are space RTS. I'm considering taking the plunge on this one later tonight. I honestly don't know why no one is giving this attention. Maybe it's the name? hedgey Well-Known Member Apr 20, 2012 99 6 8 #6 hedgey, Jan 9, 2016 I took a chance and downloaded this one. It's like what I read from the Android version. The basis is that you travel your ship from destination choices and encounter random events. Some bad, some harmless. The game progresses based on your choices at these destinations. Sometimes you have to engage in ship battles. These play out similar to a Battleheart type rts feel. Sometimes you have to fight with soilders similar to XCom. Both types can be extremely difficult at times. You need to manage repair cost, healing soilders, and buying upgrades in between. After the tutorial, I played 3 times finally getting to chapter 2 on the 3rd try. The first 2 times I was faced with almost impossible battles, and the 3rd I got lucky to recruit allies before final space fight. If I didn't, I probably would of lost. Overall, I like the game. But, it is not easy (like most rougelike games. It implements the two types of game styles nicely. The space rouge type journey with rts-like battles mixing in some sprg soilder battles. I am looking forward to playing this more. I don't regret taking a chance on this one. It's not the quality of xcom or ftl (like some reviews I read used as comparison), but it's a good game that's worth playing. chaos_envoys Well-Known Member Jan 1, 2011 1,330 0 36 Medical Doctor Pokke Village, Indonesia #7 chaos_envoys, Jan 9, 2016 Color me interested!! Why is nobody paying attention to this game? One, it's an unknown game with no press or fanfare prior to release, and two, it cost $3. It's got a lot of elements of games I like without being on the nose about it. It's got it's own style, but the intuitive interface makes it easy to get into, challenging as it is.
