Looks fun. It's a Skylander Hearthstone with daily quests to earn gold and buy boosters. I had to close the app several times because the main menu didn't appear Eli ᕕ┌◕ᗜ◕┐ᕗ Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Feb 28, 1983 1,269,049 49 48 Barcelona http://elihodapp.com/ #5 Eli, Jan 6, 2016 You get 3 free Skylanders just for completing the tutorial, then there's two more you can get here- https://www.skylanders.com/video-games/skylanders-battlecast You don't actually have to print them out, just pointing my device at my computer screen worked fine. It took over 5 minutes for its initial 113 game downloads. Fast forward to this morning. Im writing this while waiting for it to download 113 whatevers AGAIN...I hope this is resolved before the WW launch because this is going to be deleted soon if it doesn't get fixed. Which I hope it does because I like it and it's a fun game. Right now the game weighs in at about 800 mb on my device.. Looking forward to trying this again. JohnnyClash Well-Known Member Mar 11, 2016 611 1 0 #13 JohnnyClash, May 24, 2016 Yeah, its pretty fun.. made my way through all of the tutorial, and currently playing in world-one... Not sure if I will stick with it, but it is a nice lil game for the most part.. Cards are priced just about right, and there is a monthly gold pack to be had on the cheap, which if saved to months end, will net you some nice packs.. That, and they do seem fairly liberal with gold winnings in normal play by way of quests and such.. They also kick down a free card pack to you after every amount of x-hours.. So.. yeah.. Its pretty fun.. The animations are all prerendered, really degrading their fidelity and overall polish of the game. I'm thinking this might look pretty slick on current gen console. Gameplay is a bit sluggish and not a single option, not even sound control. While it's not hearthstone, the tag team mechanics are interesting, and appears deck building could be fairly robust for a game based on a kids console game. To the freemium naysayers, the monetization/IAP is as reasonable as hearthstone. JohnnyClash Well-Known Member Mar 11, 2016 611 1 0 #16 JohnnyClash, May 25, 2016 The animations do begin to get annoying after the novelty of it wears off.. Its a bit too over the top to enjoy on more then an infrequent occasion.. I wish there were a way to turn off the animations. aux80 Well-Known Member Jul 5, 2014 61 0 0 #17 aux80, May 25, 2016 Get it! My son got a couple of free cards in a magazine. He and I have both scanned them without any issues so far. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
