One of my most anticipated games Sanuku Well-Known Member Jun 14, 2009 11,954 4 38 Austria http://www.touchgameplay.com #4 Sanuku, Jan 5, 2016 I wish I could tell you that it will be worth your time but this sadly isn`t the case. There are a lot of other Clicker Games on the AppStore/Google Play Store and Tap my Katamari is so far sadly one of the weaker one. Even for just a Clicker Game there isn`t much to do and I kinda felt bored already after the first hour since the Game doesn`t really reward you with new Content/Features/... and you most of the time just do the same over and over again while other Clicker Games try nowadays to at least have a tiny bit of variety if it comes to the "Clicking". Really. Whats new? Only the thing that sticks to the ball. But the game looks good to me when it comes to the idea. It offers IAP, btw. bigghurt Well-Known Member Apr 18, 2012 203 1 18 #6 bigghurt, Jan 5, 2016 Last edited: Jan 6, 2016 Is anyone else having trouble collecting coins for offline play. Why do this to the Katamari license? Please use whatever funds you get from this to give us one more legit app store Katamari game. Don't use this game's failure as an excuse to never do Katamari ever again. You might as well have given us some shitty Katamari pachinko/slot machine. Stop this. What an abomination. indalico Well-Known Member Aug 25, 2011 660 0 16 ohio #13 indalico, Jun 30, 2016 I've loved Katamari from the PS2 days. This game here is just weird. I really don't think it's that bad. It's just the theme doesn't feel right to mesh with a clicker game. It's Clicker Heroes without the killing. famousringo Well-Known Member Jul 25, 2011 292 0 0 #14 famousringo, Jun 30, 2016 Mobile has been begging for a tilt-based Katamari game for almost a decade now. Thanks for nothing. bigrand1 Well-Known Member Apr 23, 2010 4,968 7 38 Geriatric Party Animal California, USA #15 bigrand1, Jun 30, 2016 Oh, man, I was wondering if this would be any good and I wasn't sure, but now I'm not gonna even bother with this! Hell, I already have sticky balls.........# Boardumb Administrator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Apr 14, 2009 8,964 880 113 THE BOSS Sacramento, CA #16 Boardumb, Jun 30, 2016 There have actually been two proper Katamari games on iOS, both using accelerometer function as controls (as well as options for virtual controls). As I remember, they were both plagued with performance issues, as the framerate would get abysmal once your katamari got to a certain size, which pretty much killed the fun. Both games have since been pulled. It's unfortunate as the iOS hardware nowadays could definitely handle a full Katamari game. vix Active Member Jul 21, 2013 29 0 1 http://www.katamariontheweb.com #17 vix, Jul 1, 2016 This, everything this. Ugh. It's ok for a clicker but it's not ok for a Katamari game. Rawk GWJ Well-Known Member Feb 9, 2014 335 0 16 #18 Rawk GWJ, Jul 3, 2016 Well, it certainly is a clicker game. I don't like clickers, but some of them look interesting, so I try them out every now and then. This one held my attention for less than a minute. indalico Well-Known Member Aug 25, 2011 660 0 16 ohio #19 indalico, Jul 3, 2016 I got to stage 84. I'm really not that into it seeing it's taken me around 3-4 days to even get to that point. Resetting takes some time as I need 600 levels in the tap character, I'm still 100+ levels away from that point. It really seems like that were looking at Tap Titans and basing their game around that. They managed to make this a boring game. I don't recall distance thresholds being a part of the Katamari games unless it was one of those special objectives somewhere. The only interesting things I found involved re-rolling stat boosts and buying permanent characters with the premium candy. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
