This game is a strategy and tactics type of game. Like a colonial era where you have to capture and defend a base then grow your army to capture enemy's base. With regards to graphics, for me its okay. No IAP for this game btw. Looks good in theory though. Zeillusion Well-Known Member Sep 30, 2013 1,789 2 38 #6 Zeillusion, Dec 20, 2015 Took one for the team! Looks really promising. The armies don't fight at all, just walk right by eachother to the next tower. For some reason that really turned me off to it. icoker Well-Known Member Mar 26, 2013 652 10 18 #8 icoker, Dec 20, 2015 Ive already been through the td genre but the visuals just too alluring. Modjular Well-Known Member Jun 17, 2014 62 0 6 #10 Modjular, Dec 22, 2015 Yeah, it's another take on the Galcon formula. That said, it's a very charming take on the formula. And if dragging units between planets got old fast, then the mechanics introduced here will be very refreshing. I thought the things like gradually upgrading buildings, unit types, and building types added a nice layer of strategy you have to consider, on top of tracking unit counts. I think the most impactful mechanic is the road system, and how units can only travel to buildings connected to the roads. So certain buildings on the map become very strategically important, because of their proximity to another base or because it's a choke point. This kinda turned into a review, but I just wanted to note one more thing: the devs did a really good job designing the maps, and taking full advantage of the mechanics. After the first few intro levels, the levels become very puzzle-like in nature; they demand a certain amount of speed and challenge you to identify what tactics need to be executed in order to achieve victory. Some of the solutions are kinda homogenous, I'll admit, but you can't simply blunder through the levels, throwing your guys at random bases. So, kudos to the level designers for putting thought into these levels. caseyhicks6 Member Dec 16, 2015 18 0 0 #11 caseyhicks6, Dec 29, 2015 I got this game about a week ago. After getting into it a bit I was very surprised. This is one of the most challenging games I've played. With 300+ levels this could take months! teknalb Well-Known Member Nov 12, 2015 61 0 0 #12 teknalb, Dec 29, 2015 Last edited: Dec 29, 2015 I may just really suck, but I can't beat level 12 or 13. I'm stuck and it blows because I was having a lot of fun with this one. caseyhicks6 Member Dec 16, 2015 18 0 0 #13 caseyhicks6, Dec 30, 2015 I was stuck there for a while. Don't remember what I did but rearrange your abilities. I'm stuck on 14 now! I can't imagine 300 levels! teknalb Well-Known Member Nov 12, 2015 61 0 0 #14 teknalb, Dec 30, 2015 I've tried a few different combos. I guess I just suck but I'll keep trying (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Password: Forgot your password?
