I assume it makes the room go quicker but haven't really seen any difference. E.G. I put my highest level guys in my reactors and don't get any additional energy - The limit on 'daily' missions (i guess in lieu of a timer, although you can't pay cash to reset it) is super annoying, I was pretty much stuck after 10-15 minutes of playing until I decided to blow all my starting cash on upgrades which I think is the correct move the ratio of bux > materials is very fair so it only cost me about 20 or so to upgrade my weapons/reactors/ship - What's the point of all my starting energy going into what looks like an engine when I start the battle. It would be nice to assign your starting energy while the screen is loading rather than rushing to move everything around and getting destroyed, maybe even give you 30 seconds to see the inside of their ship (with the option to 'start battle') so you can plan a strategy - Not really sure how the walls work, they don't seem to get destroyed when you attack the thing behind them but they just get ignored after a hit or two - Because you only get 5-10 missions to start unless you PVP it's almost impossible to get enough resources to do anything, I assume you need to PVP but I got demolished on my first PVP and haven't gone back - I don't understand why destroying one thing then shooting it kills the skip, you could in theory destroy a bedroom then shoot the ship 5 times and win when they still have reactors/weapons? - Why do I need to wait ~30-60 seconds to 'search' for a battle even in the daily missions? I just had one start at 0/15 for a daily mission and just staring at the screen for a minute while it pans through space?! - The size of the ships are way to small to fit everything, after upgrading to level 3 ship I have ~9 things I can't even fit on my ship, maybe this is the point? Do I even need an engine or a bridge? Anyway it's kind of fun but a little confusing and the actual battles are quite complicated and hard, by the time i've allocated my energy and targeted im usually down one thing already baldeagle86 Well-Known Member Dec 21, 2013 737 0 0 #11 baldeagle86, Dec 19, 2015 I grabbed Y3XLP7RP9XMT thanks team! Very well put together too, I'm excited to see all the designs of things as I progress. The only thing I'm having trouble with is the combat, I tried a pvp match and the second group of story missions and got completely destroyed. Are you able to attack any room on the enemy ship? And vice versa? I tried attacking their gun rooms first to disable them, but they attacked my reactor and I ran out of power. Which is totally fair and I understand, but if my reactor is way back in my ship how is that fair? Especially when I didn't hurt their gun room once, and they had no shield. I just wasn't doing any damage to them at all and they took my down slowly room by room. Basic impressions; Great beautiful game but need some help with the combat Unstablefan Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Feb 22, 2013 858 12 18 #14 Unstablefan, Dec 19, 2015 In general I'm having trouble with what I'm supposed to do, having gotten the first ship upgrade. I suppose wait a looong time for the bridge upgrade and then for gas to build a mineral storage? Maybe I should spend some space bucks? Faultyairlock Active Member Mar 18, 2015 30 0 0 #18 Faultyairlock, Dec 20, 2015 I'm enjoying this so far. It's like a light FTL only with PVP which is a nice touch (getting destroyed regularly by other players though!). The graphics are great and I enjoy adding/upgrading the rooms. At the moment I feel like I'm a bit stuck: I want to get more crew and upgrade my shields but I need more resources for that. I'll just have to keep playing I guess. Not a hassle as I think I'm hooked. Kinda hope to see more characters & rooms as I keep playing. Those heroes look interesting... baldeagle86 Well-Known Member Dec 21, 2013 737 0 0 #19 baldeagle86, Dec 20, 2015 I totally agree! I think you need to focus on ship upgrades way before adding more crew though savysoda Active Member Sep 30, 2009 43 0 6 Melbourne, Australia #20 savysoda, Dec 20, 2015 Thanks W!
