Dungeons of Evermore Features: * A party based system allowing up to 4 characters in the party * 5 different classes (warrior, adventurer, priest, mage and bard) and 5 different races * Randomly generated dungeons with a difficulty level based on the number of characters in the party, so you can adventure solo, as a duo or as a full party * Multiple mission types to keep you on your toes Dungeons of Evermore combines rogue-like elements with a full party experience, balancing traditional rogue-like features such as permanent death with the ability to bandage your fallen comrade if you can get to him in time. The dungeon also offers a means of escape, so if your party is beaten back, you can run for the exit. This creates both a challenge and a level of excitement. Note: The public domain tilesets used in Dungeons of Evermore come from the RLTiles collection. Additional graphics come from Antifarea, William.Thompsonj, Redshrike, XCVG, Justin, Nichol and Liosan from opengameart.org and Ayene-chan from DeviantArt. I love this guys games so I'll always buy em havlen Well-Known Member Jan 2, 2014 57 7 8 #4 havlen, Dec 16, 2015 Thanks Repulsa. I'm the same guy that did Endless Depths and Endless Nights, so if you've played any of those games, you know a little what to expect. This game is party-based and has some big differences from those other games. One thing to be aware of is the permadeath in the game. If your character dies, it is permanent, but you have the opportunity to bandage the character. One thing I liked about this feature in testing is that I actually ran away and escaped the dungeon at times if things went sour. I've tried to explain most abilities and items in the game well enough so that you can understand the mechanics. You can also use the identify button to check out monsters in the dungeon. There's a 20-sided dice at the bottom of the screen that will show your attack roll, any to-hit bonuses and what you need to roll for a hit. I think the mechanics will be a little easier to understand because of this. stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #5 stubbieoz, Dec 16, 2015 No iap's.....SOLD! Is this the same model used in Dungeons of Evermore? Edit.. Ok, I get it now.. I went back and played Endless Depths 2 and Endless Nights just long enough to understand the mechanics a bit better and come to terms with the 'simplicity' that masks much deeper gameplay. havlen Well-Known Member Jan 2, 2014 57 7 8 #13 havlen, Dec 17, 2015 It's pretty much the same soundfx for the most part. The game is balanced to be easier than a standard roguelike for the most part. The first levels shouldn't be too difficult, but once you hit around lvl 3 it should get a bit more difficult. The Event meter is reset when you explore an area that has monsters and reset a little if you explore and there were no monsters. Part of playing through is balancing how quickly you explore. I get an error always when i die. iPhone 6+ newest iOS. Runtime error: no such table: combat_mobs and then app crash. Thx for reply havlen Well-Known Member Jan 2, 2014 57 7 8 #18 havlen, Dec 19, 2015 I don't plan on having any multiclassing in the game like Endless Depths 2. If I add more classes, they will be base classes. havlen Well-Known Member Jan 2, 2014 57 7 8 #19 havlen, Dec 19, 2015 You can use a healing potion using the "Use Power" button but it takes an action just like using any other ability. This means you won't see the healing potion power if you've already taken another action with that character. The shop actually populates with the items you sell. I'll see if I can duplicate that error. How many characters are you using in a party? I had that error in testing but thought I'd squashed it, but sometimes the number of characters in the party can cause odd things to happen. (By the way, the game is designed to allow you to run through with 1 character, 2 character, 3 or 4 and add difficulty -- i.e. more mobs -- to the mix based on the number of characters in the party.) havlen Well-Known Member Jan 2, 2014 57 7 8 #20 havlen, Dec 19, 2015 I might see what I can do about a video after the holidays.
