I'm thankful for this, as I'm working 80 hours a week, I can take my time playing it. I know others are/were more excited to play it more like an ARPG, so, I hope it still does well. I really need DC to step-up in their marketing department and stop focusing solely on batman. hellscaretaker Well-Known Member May 27, 2012 1,098 6 38 Im a youtube gamer/streamer https://www.youtube.com/user/touchgameplay #8 hellscaretaker, Dec 15, 2015 Should point out its one of these games you will need to download a lot more stuff afterwards... Montanx Well-Known Member Mar 3, 2012 1,110 6 38 San Diego #9 Montanx, Dec 15, 2015 I dont see an auto mode. I have to click everything myself wich is annoying. I like games that play themselves when I want them to. Easier to play at work, watching movies etc. touchy85 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2015 1,616 1 38 #10 touchy85, Dec 15, 2015 Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel I think the game is pretty terrible. After you download the game you have to wait for ages, cause the game has to download 600mb-1gb at a super slow speed. Gameplay wise it's another one of these turnbased casual battlers. There's a story, but without voiceacting it's just walls of text and I'm not really interested in reading that. And I see where this is going in the long term, endless grinding to raise your characters levels. In the end it really feels like there's no originality, been there done that. Montanx Well-Known Member Mar 3, 2012 1,110 6 38 San Diego #11 Montanx, Dec 15, 2015 Last edited: Dec 15, 2015 Its true its just a reskinned SWGOH type squad battler. Farm for ridiculously hard to get items, play weeks and weeks to unlock 1 star of 1 character type deals. With no auto mode tho its insufferable to click click every action. I dont even see clear tickets to reply stages and get the rewards, thats usually the norm. Thats kind of turning into its own genre now. What do we call it? There the Turn based squad collector then theres the action variety like futurte fight. TBSB? TBSC? ASB? Both are just P2W grindfests but still fun for some. touchy85 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2015 1,616 1 38 #12 touchy85, Dec 15, 2015 Well to be fair, I can get into this kind of games sometimes. I've played Star Wars Assault till the end and sometimes it's fun to play something silly like this while you're watching tv. But this is not the game that does that for me. Ug its so slow and awful with no auto mode and no way to replay stages that I see. Why do i pull my own teeth playing these kind of games? Cant replay stages individually, you have to restart the section and theres no auto clear. the graphics are great, the class system and skills are semi interesting but the hero collecting and overall gameplay is the pits. No way to work towards getting your favorite heroes, just have to accrue currency at a snails pace to get a random pull that could be just a new ability for your existing heroes or a new hero. andysmash Well-Known Member Apr 6, 2011 2,067 1 0 #15 andysmash, Dec 15, 2015 So this is a real game? Yes! Based Xatu Well-Known Member Aug 27, 2013 1,937 0 0 #16 Based Xatu, Dec 15, 2015 LOL I think he's comparing it to your normal Asian market game, where your focus is collecting characters and pvp. So all you do is passively farm to speed things up. This isn't that type of game at all. hellscaretaker Well-Known Member May 27, 2012 1,098 6 38 Im a youtube gamer/streamer https://www.youtube.com/user/touchgameplay #17 hellscaretaker, Dec 15, 2015 Last edited: Dec 15, 2015 Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Downloading of the game is super quick it does depend on your net connection ;-D, i played this game for a solid 2 hours have yet to see any adverts but with it being soft launch i guess they want to get iron out the bugs in the game but i didn't see any. When it comes to gameplay, this is a thinking man game to say the least knowing when to use your hero's powers a the right time. I seen to have lucked out with having vision as my second "unlockable" character his laser beam does pack a punch. I can only assume that with there being just three chapters the replays of the levels will indeed give you more of a challenge. This is deffo a step up from the original offer a nice 3D effect from the 2D of the original, and knowing Marvel im sure we going to see a increase of characters over time.
