It's an unexpected and much appreciated exception to have a LGBTQ themed game and it's long overdue. Especially since "Gay Fighter Supreme" (which looked like it could have been insanely fun) turned out to be such a disappointment. But I see Grindr in the AppStore Charts constantly, the free as well as the paid app, and it seems to be doing pretty good, and all my gay friends throw their money at Apple. This is an untapped market. Gays are a very wealthy and powerful market. But there's very little in the AppStore, gamewise, that speaks to them (except, of course, Candy Crush and Clash of Clans, which they're IAPing the sh** out of btw, but you know what I mean. Games with a narrative or romantic options.). I'd love more diversity in games. Console gaming has long started getting there. touchy85 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2015 1,616 1 38 #7 touchy85, Dec 9, 2015 Funny thing is: I can't find the IAPS. After the Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 debacle, I'm kind of afraid that Atari is going to milk this. And that feels wrong. It's an interesting approach being published by Atari, it'll be interesting to see how well this serves a niche crowd of gamers who aren't so underpopulated I'm sure. I hate that it's under the banner of "Atari," which is not the Atari I grew up with and love. They have been suing people who make old-style games that resemble their stuff. It's sad because they can't make their own cool reboot of Tempest themselves. But this is a cool project, despite it being from "Atari." bearcav Member Oct 17, 2013 22 0 0 #16 bearcav, Dec 11, 2015 All of this. It seems like a nice, progressive game, but it's by Atari. They haven't made anything good since Tempest 2000, and they've pursued Jeff Minter, the designer of Tempest 2000, for money, because his TxK game may have contained ideas from Tempest 2000... which he created. And then they tried to turn Asteroids into a gritty Minecraft, and it was so horrible it never came out of Early Access. Maybe Atari's right in that they need to make smaller games, and I hope that the creators 1) have nothing to do with Atari's lawyers, and 2) are actually focused on making a game that works. coolpepper43 ð® Spam Police ð Aug 31, 2012 4,615 7 38 On the toilet #17 coolpepper43, Dec 11, 2015 I'm so happy that this is a thing. andysmash Well-Known Member Apr 6, 2011 2,067 1 0 #18 andysmash, Dec 11, 2015 Cool of Atari to do this. gaymerX Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2014 280 0 16 #19 gaymerX, Jan 28, 2016 Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!
