However, my very favorite arcade game Williams Defender II (aka Stargate) is said to be "the hardest arcade game ever" but it gave me at least a minute of play each time, and for me it was always a great way to release tension, and I never knew it was harder than Galaxian/Galaga coz I'd simply choose to shove quarters into Stargate every time I had that choice. IMO, short playtime == short amount of fun, in which case, how much time does the dev expect players to invest? (I am also attempting to sell software that is too hard to use, thus no matter how awesome it is...) I Yeah I know about Super Hexagon, I think that was due to luck, or being personal friends with prominent critics perhaps? That game is no Stargate! (If you played it on an arcade machine, it works better there than on touchscreen, but the iOS version still brings boys and girls to the yard, coz living history...those machines are extremely precious now.) An easy way to let us play longer would be to grant more than one life, so the game at least allows for, and expects mistakes. But in the case of one mistake and you die, that is brutal to me, not relaxing. It has a chilling soundtrack & you need to get in a flow with your "weapon", to destroy all the meteors at the top of the screen. And always check your energy level! Just made it to day 47 and number one on the leaderboard. Now 72 is the new goal. P.S. Played on an IPad alperiskender Well-Known Member May 17, 2014 46 1 8 #6 alperiskender, Dec 12, 2015 Apollo 72 Tips Hi Cerbo First of all, Im sorry that you didnt enjoy the game. I spent a lot of time to adjust the difficulty level. Still, if other players struggle to survive in the game as you do, I made a video&gifs to show some tips on how to survive more in Apollo 72. Always check your energy bar Meteors give you more energy if you hit them when they are away Use your shield if necessary (hold for hard times) Be careful about harmful bonuses, avoid them Don't forget to get the occasional energy pills All gifs was taken from this video https://youtu.be/KDvBH1W3sUc If you have a question, I'm all ears cerbo Well-Known Member Feb 7, 2015 81 0 0 #7 cerbo, Dec 12, 2015 Last edited: Dec 12, 2015 TY alperiskender. The orbital physics aspect is most intriguing. I'll give it another go. NOEN Well-Known Member Jul 31, 2012 3,245 0 0 U.S. #8 NOEN, Dec 12, 2015 I really love the artwork on this one. The controls take some getting used to tho. I kind of think of it as whipping a ball on a string and that's how I got the hang on it. cerbo Well-Known Member Feb 7, 2015 81 0 0 #9 cerbo, Dec 13, 2015 Last edited: Dec 13, 2015 Thanks, that tip helped. @alperiskender I just bought the IAP and I still see ads, and I'm not sure the game has changed at all (I thought there were to be increases in heart and shield power ups). This is after quitting and re-starting. I'm enjoying the game now but please fix the IAP thing. alperiskender Well-Known Member May 17, 2014 46 1 8 #10 alperiskender, Dec 13, 2015 Last edited: Dec 13, 2015 Thank you for the feedback cerbo After you said, I checked it. Before you purchase, shield durability 5 seconds. Now it must 10 seconds and you can see hearts in the map with %20 possibility. There is no bug for both of them. But I found a bug for ads, unacceptable. I fixed it and sent it to Appstore. Also, thank you for your patience As you know, there is a holiday break, I hope they will review it before Dec 22. cerbo Well-Known Member Feb 7, 2015 81 0 0 #11 cerbo, Dec 13, 2015 I appreciate your efforts alperiskender.
