The development team really cares about this game and will listen to feedback. The beginning part is pretty cool and scripted and action packed. It was like I was in a movie lol. Qwertz555 Well-Known Member May 22, 2010 2,318 29 48 #13 Qwertz555, Nov 27, 2015 Sorry to disappoint you, don't see any. Great, i can change the language from the default german (in my case) to english. The english voices, spoken by the Devs and friends i guess, have that charming little italien accent. Makes this title even indie-er. The game offers in-game sliders for music, sfx and voices, as well for the movement sensitivity. Invert up/down aiming is possible. Unfortunately again, no customization for the on-screen buttons (why-oh-why shout out to all Devs out there!). At least they work all good and responsive. The only cluttering little pause and question mark button could have easily implemented into the map sign. The game starts with a nice cinematic opening that drew me in instantly... I'm on my first mission on daylight, driving the car (steered with good tilt, only) to a bunker, entering, and when i came out, it was night. Went in and out again, and i saw that beautiful red morning dawn. Gives the game that certain atmosphere i was talking about in the upcoming thread. Tip: watch the short video and you know what you get graphic wise in this apocalyptical sci-fi scenario. I like it so far and short in. https://www.youtube.com/embed/qKUy1FT0Alg Since i'm no FPS specialist, i can't comment on the shooting battles. Right now and without better knowing the enemies behaviour and my own, i keep dying in the second big hall. Seems the AI is too clever (for me!), yet. I really do hope that i will encounter some strange aliens later on. Otherwise i might quit because i don't like shooting realistic looking humans only. However this turns out, i'm glad i supported these indie Devs. Installed MB 263 and it's in my icloud. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #14 syntheticvoid, Nov 27, 2015 Right on, thank you for the info. It has been developed by "one" single person ( our company lead dev , just for fun ), so it's 100% indie. (Voices are from friends yeah) The other one it's me managing NuOxygen ; a small but sucessful videogames publisher (and studio) that brings our experience to help indie devs and small comapnies to create and publish nice games. Unfortunately the game was not featured ( didn't check all stores ) on the App Store , but who knows ; maybe they scheduled a featuring some time from now. Fortunately Kepler 22 has getting positive reviews from players and that's worth more than just a spot in a showcase. So Thank You !!! Please keep spreading the voice about our new game , 'cause we really need it . BTW we will be partecipating to the IMGA (International Mobile Gaming Awards). Or like a Rise of the Triad kind of thing (still haven't filled that hole.). It's kind of a sparse shooter so far, and I think they've done a good job of giving you as much control of your character with online controls. However, because your shooting and jumping is with the same hand as your aiming, it's very difficult and unsatisfying to get a lock on the enemy. Perhaps, in the interest of fun, an auto lock situation could play into it. On the bright side, you play as a cyborg who looks like Kris Kristofferson with a bionic arm that shoots a harpoon. So, that helps. jgeirge Well-Known Member Apr 8, 2015 290 0 0 #20 jgeirge, Nov 27, 2015 Can't say your 3D modeling is any better bro, besides, the gameplay weighs in much heavier than the graphics in my opinion. Hence why system shock 2 is a fantastic shooter & Crysis 3 is mediocre TL;dr, definite purchase if they add MFI support!! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
