Singularity was featured on the Apple App Store as Best New Games during release. Now Unexpect3rd Developments is offering a new relaxing twist on the puzzle game genre with Into the Winds - Zen Flowers. It is a very simple line-drawing flower matching game with various Ability Flowers to unlock that would change how a player plays the game. It has simple missions and daily objectives for the players who are goal oriented. These missions and objectives will earn the player experience points and seeds which will translate into ability upgrades and higher score bonuses. What truly stands out for Into the Wind - Zen Flowers, is in its names sake. The Zen elements infused in the game can be experienced from the meditative soundtrack, to the incredibly animated flowers, to the relaxing and changing background visuals. Each flower in the game is NOT a single sprite as per how most other games game objects are. In Into the Wind - Zen Flowers, each flower is generated from a single petal and the stalk. One can observe and appreciate every little movement animated on the flowers and be entranced when each flower disperses its petals into the winds. Unexpect3rd Development has truly blended a meditative Zen experience with relaxing puzzle in this latest release. Into the Winds - Zen Flower will be available on the Apple iOS App Store from 26th November 2015 The video app preview for the iPad version can be viewed on Youtube here. Something my kid might enjoy to watch (pretty sure he won't understand the gameplay yet). The only thing that keeps me from complete relaxation is the high pitched noise that matching up 5 flowers and up makes. If the sound was calmer, then I'd fall head over heels for this put if I were to give it a review set of stars, 5 out of 5 wouldn't be enough because I absolutely love this game unexpect3rd Well-Known Member Dec 7, 2011 369 2 18 Mobile Game Developer (Fulltime as well as indie) Singapore http://www.unexpect3rd.com #6 unexpect3rd, Nov 26, 2015 Thank you!! When you really need to destress or relax, go fool around in Zen mode! It's like a air buble wrap thingy, haha. So disclaimer: into the winds is not related to flowers for the ps4. I do agree that some of the match sounds are a bit jarring and atonal. Valentia Well-Known Member Patreon Gold Jan 20, 2009 618 1 18 Female Retired! I was very happy to see a new game from you, and downloaded it right away. It's so beautiful! And peaceful and relaxing, with wonderful clear graphics. As an older gamer whose eyes and reflexes aren't top-notch anymore, I so appreciate games that I can see clearly, and that let me use patience and reasoning and planning over speed. It's Thanksgiving Day here in the U.S., and when I count the many things in my life I'm grateful for, today I am adding this lovely little gem of a game to my list. I'm working on fixing that right now, getting the right tone. Some other users have responded that they liked the increasing pitch, so i have to find the right balance now. An increasing pitch but not too annoying. Thank you very much sir, I really almost teared up reading this (but I didnt want to cry at my day job office). Sometimes I will try to make games of a different genres (to expand my game design skillset), but I really hope Unexpect3rd Developments will eventually be known for something... I've got my fingers crossed on that "something" being "relaxing puzzle games". Your words will have an impact on my future game design directions.
