But I feel the luck factor is too big, you have to be lucky with your matches and the cards you get. Pitta Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2008 3,420 148 63 Male Italy #5 Pitta, Nov 21, 2015 Playing it since this afternoon. Fantastic so far...I wish it was premium but I can already buy every planes walker and then then some (still deciding which one to buy and level up and invest for the boosters). If you login every day you get a ton of stuff and a planes walker after a month if I'm not wrong. But just playing normally you acquire enough stone to level up to level 9 and but 2-3 planes walkers already. Nice strategy in the deck building, tweaking the priority of the cards and, of course, matching the gems. Played for 30mins and it's the usual gem matching mechanism. Lol over hype aconfusedkender Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2012 1,362 122 63 Oil & Gas Kendermore, Ansalon #11 aconfusedkender, Nov 22, 2015 Has anyone else who's played this been able to achieve the 2nd quest on the 1st level? The one that says endurance win 2 battles. I've won at least 5 and it won't give me the damn check mark. It's about to drive me batty! And it's making me not want to try to get the 5 wins for the 2nd level if it's not going to give it to me. Was curious if it was just my game or if it was known. Thanks aconfusedkender Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2012 1,362 122 63 Oil & Gas Kendermore, Ansalon #12 aconfusedkender, Nov 22, 2015 I played MTG a lot when I was growing up. Had quite a collection at one point. And no not all creatures are the same. They almost all have their own special ability/card text that does different stuff. It's been out for so long now Nellie that idk if it's be worth the time/money it would take to make a viable deck but I haven't played in about 6 years. I still have a couple decks by my bed (; Pitta Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2008 3,420 148 63 Male Italy #13 Pitta, Nov 22, 2015 I did. But as it is in soft launch, I guess there are quirks. I have the same problem in other missions (I have completed all 1 chapter but last fight....working on it). Also, I've noticed today the game grants way less currency than yesterday for some reason. My best fighter is Nissa of course, I 'bought' both the fighter and the Mage...trying to see how they are...but they play VERY differently than the starting Druid of course. I still have 50K stones remaining which will be used to level up the planes walker I like best. Didn't buy the fire Mage woman because I saw it will be free after 30 days of consecutive logins. Game is truly great. Mr. Charley Well-Known Member Sep 6, 2008 2,629 38 38 #14 Mr. Charley, Nov 22, 2015 2 questions as I still haven't gotten around to making an account: Timers? And is there some way tomsunc progress (FB or GC) to be able to continue on my regular account when it launches and play on multiple devices as well? aconfusedkender Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2012 1,362 122 63 Oil & Gas Kendermore, Ansalon #15 aconfusedkender, Nov 22, 2015 Timers? Not that I can see but maybe when it comes to the life totals of your planes walker/hero. I think you can refill the life up to 5 times and that seems to regenerate but I don't see a "clock" persay. There is FB login so I'm guessing yes you will be able to carry over when it comes to the USA Pitta Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2008 3,420 148 63 Male Italy #16 Pitta, Nov 22, 2015 Timers are your life...you can replenish it 5 times then you have to wait (first one is like 10 minutes or so). Having 3 plane walkers help because you can play while the others recharge (but at the cost of the precious levelling up). I'm basically playing non stop since yesterday (mid chapter 1, phase 2 now) and it was ok. I wish there was a 10 dollar iap to remove timers and the game be a bit more generous in giving currency when you REPLAY a mission. When you start acquiring boosters and tweak your deck...the game really start to shine. Actually, it's really awesome and a match in heaven, I'm really liking this one. It uses Facebook to save progression, and it even syncs between devices (a bit sluggish on iPad Air, perfect on iPhone 6S). PBSNellie Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2013 1,381 168 63 Southern CA #17 PBSNellie, Nov 22, 2015 Last edited: Nov 22, 2015 I cleared the first level no problem. I like being able to switch around the cards as I need them. As it is Im waiting as long as I can to add to my deck, I want to see how far I can get with what I have. I have not played long enough stretches to use up all my stamina but I noticed if you win strong, it doesn't use up as much. So Im thinking I need to get in some defenders at the top of my deck.. OK edited to say, I just finished the second level. It gives you 25 of the gold shard things as a reward for getting the 5 wins. Also beat without losing stamina. So it really depends on a combination of your cards and the match 3 rune colors. I wish she would play on tablet because I would love to learn from her. She is pretty hard core. Pitta Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2008 3,420 148 63 Male Italy #19 Pitta, Nov 23, 2015 Ok...played 6 hours straight just yesterday according to my battery usage. This game is brilliant (and the app is very well done, more on iPhone than iPad where sometimes the card scrolling get a bit sluggish). Awesome art as expected from Magic franchise. The year already started great with Hero Emblems, the first match 3 I really loved in a looooooong time, probably the first since the original Puzzle Quest, but I must say they really nailed everything down with this blend. It feels a bit like PQ, but more like a streamlined and less hardcore version of Magic. And it feels something different from every other match 3 game. Once you get some cards and you you get the second loyalty power....the game really opens up. After endlessly tweaking my decks (I have 3 planes walkers) I focused on Nissa and now I'm cruising in chapter 3. About to open the 600 gold boosters pack...let's see what it gives me. I have over 700 K 'stones' unspent....waiting to decide if continuing leveling up Nissa (now 26) or focusing on other planes walkers. Actually I'm feeling a bit overpowered but if I mess it up and drag the fight too long, I'm at risk (higher level fighters have great powers but you can usually really hamper them with fast attacks and low level monsters). The best battles are the ones where you win with just 1 HP remaining...and a tad before failure your deck finally comes up and all the interactions between cards are in place. You gotta love those 50 HP combined attacks. Great game so far...can't wait for the worldwide launch with events and such. If people are curious...the usual gain in the first chapters is about 7K-100K 'stones' per successful game. (100K if you check all boxes...some gives you 50K alone, plus gold and boosters). Leveling up a character at level 20 requires about 50-60K stones. Once you are familiar with the game, and considering which cards you eventually already have....start focusing on one planes walker. aconfusedkender Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2012 1,362 122 63 Oil & Gas Kendermore, Ansalon #20 aconfusedkender, Nov 23, 2015 Last edited: Nov 23, 2015 Oh I had forgotten to say.
