We've released a new free version of MMA Manager now so that players can actually try it instead of being put off by it being a premium game. This has the added benefit of MMA Manager Free launching with all the great improvements we've added to the original launch from player and review feedback . The core of the game is to run a fight team, recruit fighters, train them, corner them in fights and win championships while trying to get your fighters to the best leagues in the world. Bit By Bit is just the two of us and we've done a lot of simulation coding over the years on games like Black & White 2 and Fable 2 and 3, so the fighters, promotors and coachers are all procedurally generated and have unique looks, names, personalities and skills. We've kept the 2 versions separate mainly because having seen other apps "go free" over the years, very few achieve it cleanly without annoying the hell out of the existing players. Two separate versions is risky as hell for us, the new version has launched "clean" without the benefit of the existing reviews and 4.5 star rating in the App Store. But it's better in our opinions that we do the extra work to avoid negatively affecting the experience of anyone that's already paid for the game. The existing players of MMA Manager have been awesome, they've interacted with us via email, twitter and forums and given us a ton of feedback and suggestions for the game. The last thing in the world we'd want to do is risk screwing up their games, especially since it's a single player game that can result in serious time investment.
