No really, it is. Just try and make sense of all the nonsense. It’s full of phrases like Plouse Hant and Mooper San and Band Socks. Apparently, people can unscramble this balderdash and find some sort of meaning. And to think they call it a word game! As far as we can tell, Jollygrams is jitter ubberish. I think this would be most enjoyable playing along with a friend. cloudpuff Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2013 3,600 0 36 lazy layabout uk #6 cloudpuff, Nov 19, 2015 Looks unique. My daughter usually loves quirky word games so I'll prob pick this up for her. scott997 Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2015 93 0 6 #7 scott997, Feb 5, 2016 Enjoying this nonsense I'm enjoying this nonsense. It is a ton of fun. If you don't have it already, get it. I'd like to know more about how many jollygrams there are and what are the different categories. Are they in order or entirely random? If you leave the game and come back sometimes a new jollygram appears. Will the one that was not solved come back? What is the point of points? I know you can get a hint for a point; I tried it once and it wasn't that great of a hint. Can they be used for something else? After so many points do you unlock something? Can you earn extra points besides the five in a row bonus? Does Kieffer Bros keep track of the wrong answers? It would be interesting to see what other wrong answers people tried and which were the most popular. I touched the jollygram bird and it when away. Will it ever come back? I'm not a big fan of word games, but this is just different enough that it is great fun. Love Kieffer Bros. games! Kieffer Bros. Well-Known Member Sep 30, 2009 118 0 0 Wisconsin http://kiefferbros.com #8 Kieffer Bros., Feb 5, 2016 Thanks! Glad you’re enjoying the game! In the current version, there are a little over 1,000 jollygrams. They show up almost completely randomly. If you skip one or quit before solving, it will be shuffled back into the deck but won’t reappear for a while. There’s a large array of categories—literature, cinema and television, history, geography, sayings, astronomy, the list goes on. There’s not really any point to the coins beyond being able to buy hints. Sorry, they don’t unlock anything else. And nope, you only get a bonus for five in a row. We do not keep track of wrong answers, but that would be interesting to see! Did the bird in the main menu disappear, or was it the one that comes up during the tutorial? The main menu one shouldn’t disappear, but the tutorial one does. Thanks again for playing! scott997 Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2015 93 0 6 #9 scott997, Feb 15, 2016 Cool Feature! Cool Feature - you can use the dictate button (the microphone) on the keyboard to say the answer instead of typing it! Do the jollygrams repeat or once you solve one you will not see it again? I think I've seen some of them more than once, but then I could be mistaken. Kieffer Bros. Well-Known Member Sep 30, 2009 118 0 0 Wisconsin http://kiefferbros.com #10 Kieffer Bros., Feb 15, 2016 Oh, yeah, using the microphone can speed things up quite a bit! That's probably something we should point out in the beginning of the game. A solved jollygram won't show up again. It's possible, however, that there are a few double-entries.
