The graphics are serviceable, while the level designs and physics are great and frequently make for a good challenge. There are too many adds though, particularly for a game that requires a lot of restarts to get all of the stars and succeed at finishing many levels. There is also a three or four second black screen delay when waiting for the reload screen to pop up, waiting for the level to reload, waiting for the score, and waiting for an ad to start. I purchased no ads and had hoped that some of the delays would stop since the ads wouldn't be tied to the restarts, but it still takes about four seconds to get to the restart, wait on the restart, and get the score and this issue is occurring on a 6S+ with the latest iOS. It may not sound like very long to have to wait, but if someone is wanting to perfect each level, they would wind up taking more time to wait for things to load than they would playing the game. With also having to watch frequent ads, even though they are thankfully short, the time waiting versus time playing seems bad enough to likely turn most people off, unless of course they just played through the levels without worrying about coins, jumps, stars, and health. Maybe I am wrong about all of that, but with the ads being as frequent as they are, I likely would have gotten frustrated and deleted the game once the levels started getting more difficult and required even more restarts. chechesoft Member May 5, 2014 6 0 0 #4 chechesoft, Nov 12, 2015 Thanks Godless for your comments. We are aware that waiting times could be shorter and are working in lowering down these loading times for reseting levels, it will get better in future updates. About ads, it is difficult for indie developers to earn much from their free games, and Ads is one of our last resources. Trying to keep a good user experience, Booger Boing is programmed to serve ads just in 1/5th of the times a scene is loaded or reseted, what we think is acceptable, we will analize expanding this ratio anyway, is very difficult to find the balance for earning a few bucks.
