Kirenx Well-Known Member Mar 16, 2012 774 0 0 #6 Kirenx, Nov 11, 2015 Wow, this game has it all. It's a MOBA, but also a hack and slash adventure game. It has collectable elements, RPG elements, and a ton of different game modes. If this receives solid support I can see it being a huge hit as none of the competition really does all that is available in this game. The idea of synergizing multiple units and having the ability to swap between then during a match adds some real depth. I can only see this as becoming increasingly engaging as you unlock more units to play with. Of course this assumes that current and future units are designed with some real synergy in mind, which remains to be seen. HallmarkCard Well-Known Member Mar 21, 2015 176 5 18 #11 HallmarkCard, Nov 12, 2015 Well said indeed. Also, since other players are not in your party during the MOBA parts, no one can mess things up while going AFK lol kenken11 Well-Known Member Sep 29, 2012 1,808 5 38 #12 kenken11, Nov 12, 2015 Is there an offline mode? I knows he f2p grind fest is t touch arcades staple, but there's a lot of fun to be had. Happily bought a subscription and daily playing. Based Xatu Well-Known Member Aug 27, 2013 1,937 0 0 #16 Based Xatu, Feb 4, 2016 What level are you and what server do you play on? fabell Well-Known Member Feb 3, 2016 161 0 0 #17 fabell, Feb 9, 2016 I'm really digging this game. Once you get to chapter 6 things heat up with challenge and the game really separates the free from the paid crowd though. Here are some tips I've discovered to help your way through the slog: 1. Almost every battle can be auto-battled. So it's great for putting on when you are watching tv or doing something else. Especially the Twilight arenas 2. Dueling is useful for getting soulstones to upgrade your heroes at the beginning ranks. You get the dueling gem regardless of whether you win, so don't worry about which opponent you face since you won't actually start winning until you have a full 5 star team. You can actually exchange one dueling gem for 10k gold which is nice if you are strapped for cash. I've never done this because I've never needed it. At my level (30) cash is in ample supply. 3. Be careful when choosing bounties. Reward gear is great because gear is so expensive (128 gems or stamina with story levels), while soulstones can be gotten easily enough with the honor supply (which you get soon enough by logging in each day). 4. Spend your initial bounties buying runes and then use the upgrade stones you win from rune war to upgrade your runes. Runes are key to competitive play. 5. Focus on upgrading and gearing up an initial balanced team composed of a damage dealer, a tank, and a healer. Personally, I use Sylvia (healer and slight damage/cc), Monte (amazing tank because of he can grab all enemies and drag them to him) and Wukong (who I was lucky in getting early on). Any other damage dealer is fine though, just make sure you keep their gear upgraded and focus on soulstoning then to higher stars when you can. 6. You won't need to worry about upgrading other heroes until you unlock trials (which awards free elixirs). 7. Finally, as one last tip, don't forget about using the forge and using all that gear you get to gain rare and epic gear (if you are lucky). Rare gear has a 50% chance to fail (one of the suckiest parts of the game), but worth the effort. Finally: this game is RNG heavy and really focused on a lot of battles. Hence the auto battle is a life saver on your thumbs. Auto battling always under performs you but if your team can blast away the story levels with 3 stars in auto battling or wipe the team from the arena battles, you can congratulate yourself with a well designed team. This game doesn't take a lot of thought: it's a Moba designed for people who love the idea of Moba's but hate playing them. If anyone else has tips please share them! Based Xatu Well-Known Member Aug 27, 2013 1,937 0 0 #18 Based Xatu, Feb 9, 2016 I left a number 3 guild today and deleted the game from my phone. It's a cool game, but it gets very tedious past level 40(cap is 80). I would suggest some more advanced tips, but I don't want you to get sucked into the same cycle I did. I managed to cap my runes within a week each, and I really started noticing how shallow the game is. fabell Well-Known Member Feb 3, 2016 161 0 0 #19 fabell, Feb 9, 2016 Can you explain more how it gets tedious? What is endgame like? Based Xatu Well-Known Member Aug 27, 2013 1,937 0 0 #20 Based Xatu, Feb 9, 2016 The prices for each upgrade of gear rises pretty high, leveling takes a much longer time, and there's not much interaction with the community outside of guild chat. Also once you get out of silver tier in PvP, you'll start noticing the only way to stay on the leaderboard is by spending lots of money. This game is very generous, but it's your typical f2p game, where you run on a hamster wheel with no end in sight. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
