I've been considering adding it but wasn't sure there would be demand for it VirtualBoyFreak Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Apr 26, 2011 4,801 85 48 Spain #3 VirtualBoyFreak, Oct 20, 2015 I'm one of many who prefers touch to tilt. I've been playing it a bit and a left/right control on the left side and the turbo button on the right side would work quite well IMO. Maybe you can add the option to choose between touch and tilt. chief78 Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2012 2,317 7 38 #4 chief78, Oct 21, 2015 Always late to the party, oh well. I would gladly pay for this, but I don't play tilt games. If touch were added, I'm all in #### AndThereItIs Member Oct 20, 2015 18 0 0 #5 AndThereItIs, Oct 21, 2015 All codes taken. Yeah I don't know about tilt. I'd have to see some impressions first. Looks like a great game though . I really want this one pocketeers Well-Known Member May 11, 2011 48 0 0 #6 pocketeers, Oct 21, 2015 I will see if I can have touch controls in for next week AndThereItIs Member Oct 20, 2015 18 0 0 #7 AndThereItIs, Oct 21, 2015 Thanks for he code Dev! This game really is something pretty special, honestly I wasn't expecting much. But I really like it. It is like a twitchy, tunnel racer....with tilt controls. The tilt controls are very sensitive and are super hard to control, at least for me, so a touch screen option to steer the ship would make the game near perfect. I love the levels so far, and the music builds with how fast your going, just epic, only played two levels so far, but I can't tell I'm going to be playing this for a while. Touch is a must, I concur. chief78 Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2012 2,317 7 38 #9 chief78, Oct 21, 2015 Thank you for the code! This game is really well polished, and believe it or not, I like the tilt controls. They're so tight that you don't have to tilt your phone much at all, but is also not over-sensitive. Hearing the announcer in the background, whizzing by obstacles at full speed, I got the sense of playing the old Star Wars arcade game when you go into the Death Star. Honestly, this game is pretty damn sweet. I've played most of the tunnel racers, and this one does hold up to the best. I'm surprised and happy to be playing this and that I'm #1 on the 1st leaderboard # Pretty sure that won't hold for long though pocketeers Well-Known Member May 11, 2011 48 0 0 #10 pocketeers, Oct 21, 2015 Thanks, glad you like the game. The idea spawned from playing Minecraft Dropper maps of all things, but I'm a sci-fi fan so it all got turned into tunnels, ships and asteroids etc.. You can change the tilt sensitivity in the main menu options. Hopefully touch controls will be in some point next week. pocketeers Well-Known Member May 11, 2011 48 0 0 #11 pocketeers, Oct 21, 2015 The game has been through 7 releases on Android, so its had a fair few upgrades over the last month or two. It was delayed on iOS because I wanted to get replays in there before release. By any chance, do you have a video of your game? I love the look so far but there are some similarities to other games I have. I'm sure once I see a video, it'll change my mind. Thanks! I would recommend considering a change up in the game icon, doesn't seem to fit the gameplay in my opinion. pocketeers Well-Known Member May 11, 2011 48 0 0 #15 pocketeers, Oct 22, 2015 What kind of icon would you suggest? Choose something more abstract. Either related to the shaft you are falling into or the character / ship that is falling down the tunnel? pocketeers Well-Known Member May 11, 2011 48 0 0 #17 pocketeers, Oct 22, 2015 I like the ship idea, will see if I can come up with something LordShad0wz Well-Known Member Nov 19, 2014 4,280 1 38 #18 LordShad0wz, Oct 22, 2015 You've definitely sold me once the touch controls are in. I wouldn't wait pocketeers Well-Known Member May 11, 2011 48 0 0 #20 pocketeers, Oct 24, 2015 Just submitted an update with touch controls, should be available within a few days. You need to switch touch controls on by going to the settings and checking "Use Touch". Touching left hand edge of display will steer left, touching right will steer right.
