Deserves more downloads.” The gameplay is simple and straightforward: you have three points to shoot from descending targets. Sounds easy right? Don’t get too comfortable - with its puzzle twist, Polyblast will get your heart racing in no time! Polyblast requires speed, precision and some calculated planning to complete the level with the limited number of blasts available. Don’t worry – we've added plenty of goodies (aka power-ups) to help you out along the way. You need to blast them to activate them and if used right they will help you finish the level better faster! Solo mode has 3 packs each containing 3 themed worlds and 45 levels! We've just added a 4th pack including a brand new world with 15 challenge-packed levels! A starring system is there as an indication of your performance. Find yourself hung up on a level and in need of more blasts? We have added a recharge button to help you out! Each recharge unit will provide you with +5 blast for each shooting point - they might come in handy on those stubborn levels. The multi-player mode is there for the most competitive at heart. A player can challenge an opponent to a Polyblast dual on the same device! Each player plays from one end of the device screen and shoots toward a shared target. EDIT- my first game I lost quickly and the game insulted me and said I was disappointing lol. I actually lol'ed. I just made it to level 2. I'm getting the hang of it so far. It's interesting. I'm not sure the game even fits in any genre. It's doing its own thing. Pretty cool devs. Ok I'll take my disappointing butt and get back to it haha! Easy to play with simple controls. Just tap to shoot. Tap. Tap. Tap. (There are 3 rows to shoot from.) At first glance, Polyblast looks minimalistic and simple enough. But it will fool you. There's a lot more to it than meets the eye, or; the tap. He he. Creative and unique, polyblast will keep coming at you. You're given a limited number of arrows to tap or shoot out from the bottom of the screen. Your goal is to get rid of the moving balls up at the top. These balls are located on obstacles that will get in your way and if they come all the way to the bottom; it's game over. Shoot the ball and part of the obstacle disappears. The game gets faster and more difficult the more you play. And believe me; it gets tough. Especially when obstacles are moving across the screen and the ball sometimes comes right at you at flaming speeds. Super fun are the 'Frenzies.' They're like instant power-ups that give you a quick advantage. I'll let you figure out what they do. (Smile) There is a very reasonably priced iap that will give you some extra levels, get rid of ads that are not very intrusive to begin with and show the Dev a little support for his hard work. Obviously, I am enjoying the game and recommend it. So...... Here comes the corny part.... I'm sure you knew this was coming! LOL:: You will have a 'Poly' good time because Polyblast is a 'Blast!' . We really enjoyed working and updating this game since it was launched a year ago. The game did well - it received a decent amount of download but most importantly amazing reviews!! many of you here on toucharcade actually took the time to review it and we appreciated every single one! A year has passed and today we find out that Polyblast was shortlisted for the IMGA International Award! This has renewed a sense of excitement for myself and the team! I hope its ok that I'm posting this on here - it would be great if you could check out the game on the app store and if you do like it, vote and help us bring life back into a game we really loved and give it the chance it deserves.
