The tracks are decomposed into diverging game mode segments. The obstacles, tracks and visual effects are all adjusted to the music and in perfect harmony with each song. Dub Dash has a great soundtrack including music from Bossfight and the DJs of Geometry Dash – to enjoy the full experience the use of headphones is highly recommended. 7 ULTRA CHALLENGING MODES Spin your crazy wheel in harmony with the song and keep dodging left and right avoiding obstacles at high speed. Fly like a bird, make hard 90° turns and feel the rhythm of the zig-zag trajectory. The objective for each track is clear: Do you rock the funky road of Dub Dash? PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT The gameplay of each segment is simple but it´s tough to master the levels. Actually it´s extremely hard, almost impossible – but fortunately there´s the practice mode which gives you a save point after each passage so you won´t need to finish the whole level in one try. Memorize each segment of the level and maybe (only maybe) you will be able to master even the hardest levels someday. Even people who have no history of seizures or epilepsy may have an undiagnosed condition that can cause these "photosensitive epileptic seizures" while watching video games. These seizures may have a variety of symptoms, including lightheadedness, altered vision, eye or face twitching, jerking or shaking of arms or legs, disorientation, confusion, or momentary loss of awareness. Seizures may also cause loss of consciousness or convulsions that can lead to injury from falling down or striking nearby objects. Immediately stop playing and consult a doctor if you experience any of these symptoms. Parents should watch for or ask their children about the above symptoms - children and teenagers are more likely than adults to experience these seizures. The risk of photosensitive epileptic seizures may be reduced by taking the following precautions:•Play in a well-lit room•Do not play when you are drowsy or fatiguedIf you or any of your relatives have a history of seizures or epilepsy, consult a doctor before playing. I wish there was a way to reverse the controls, my brain can't handle the controls like this. I also think the levels are a bit too long. Kinda bummed you aren't liking the controls. I'm still gonna give it a shot later. How are the controls? In the video it's says "tap left" or "tap right" to avoid obstacles. Does that mean you just tap the left or right side of the screen? What didn't you like about the controls? touchy85 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2015 1,616 1 38 #10 touchy85, Oct 7, 2015 It works like that indeed. But on the ground there's a sign with left or right, when the sign says 'go left', it's on the right site of the path. So when it gets intense and I see a sign on the left of the path saying 'go right', I automatically tap left instead of right and I have to start over. I'm pretty sure most people have no problems with this, but I just can't get used to it. I can see how that could be confusing... Here's hoping I can get the hang of it. Or maybe there will be an option to turn the signs off... TheGreatEscaper Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2014 1,025 22 38 #15 TheGreatEscaper, Oct 8, 2015 I thought the controls were very intuitive. I bought the full version straight off and I'm liking it quite a lot! It's very enjoyable and music is pretty good, although sometimes there's a bit too much visual noise. The game carries on one of my major annoyances with Geometry dash though: I never play practise mode so I get highly annoyed when I 100% a level with all stars, and then for the sake of completeness have to go back and do the level again in practise mode for the game to display a full completion. Why can't practise mode automatically register the progress you've made in the real game? Incodra Well-Known Member Apr 15, 2015 146 0 16 Aachen, Germany http://www.incodra.com #16 Incodra, Oct 8, 2015 Thanks for the feedback so far! You're great! Regarding the signs on the track in the very first level: Well, they should help you and were added as suggested by our beta testers and it was extremely helpful when playing it for the first time (especially if you're not used to similar games). Some people (mostly GD players) say that the level is now too easy! Aaaargh! But well, it is the very first level. There are no more signs later and it'll get very, very tough. Thanks man. Well, you're right. The practice mode could register the progress of the normal mode. In the first 1-2 levels this can be annoying, but later you'll need practice, especially if you want to get all the notes. If you should make it without... then you're better than me. The lite version has only 3 tracks, the full version features all 8 tracks and will grow in future... 2 more tracks are already in the pipeline. setomoto Well-Known Member Feb 14, 2015 47 0 6 #17 setomoto, Oct 8, 2015 Just want to congratulate the devs for the release. It's fantastic! And I really like that they are stage based, so if I fail, I can keep practicing to get better.
