And the gameplay looks frantic and fun. Unlockable characters are a big win! Is this randomly generated levels? Shutting up now and.... downloading now! To answer your question, yes the levels are randomly generated. Hope you enjoy the game! metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #4 metalcasket, Sep 25, 2015 I wasn't expecting this to be free. Are there ads in the game? If so, please consider an ad-disabling IAP. Skunkie Well-Known Member Aug 20, 2015 55 5 8 Game Designer San Diego, Ca http://punklabs.com #5 Skunkie, Sep 25, 2015 Yes, there are ads that are displayed, but completely optional and never interrupt gameplay. If you watch an ad you will always get a new character. Once you have unlocked all characters, the ads will be disabled. All characters can be unlocked within the game. CygnetSeven Well-Known Member Feb 6, 2010 7,596 33 48 #6 CygnetSeven, Sep 25, 2015 Totally optional. Only to get new peeps. Two game modes, Adventure is like bite size levels and Endless (of course) is ah... endless. Great fun so far! metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #7 metalcasket, Sep 25, 2015 Yeah, I just unlocked my first character a while ago and the ads are exactly like in Crossy Road. Completely optional. Beautiful game so far. Absolutely gorgeous. Vovin ð® Spam Police ð Nov 28, 2009 6,514 3 38 Germany #8 Vovin, Sep 25, 2015 Last edited: Sep 25, 2015 HOOOOLY CRAP! This "is some of the bestestest!!" as Momo would say! Great game, think of a crossy-road-fantasy-rogue-like(lite) - awesome. The soundtrack is hot, like really. You gave me that warm fuzzy C64-feeling. And how you managed the ads, great. Too bad there is no donate-a-buck-button. Cute game with awesome music but not sure I know what the point is other than moving forward. Is it just a high score chase? Played for five minutes and then got bored. What are the coins even for? It just doesn't seem like there's a point aside from score which doesn't interest me at all. It's a shame too cuz the presentation and controls are good. Skunkie Well-Known Member Aug 20, 2015 55 5 8 Game Designer San Diego, Ca http://punklabs.com #15 Skunkie, Sep 26, 2015 Adventure mode has stages to which lead to an ending, while Endless mode is more for high scores and survival. Coins are purely old school arcade style score boosting for the leaderboards. Both modes have achievements. Definitely worth the price of free. Shiatama_0 Well-Known Member Jul 3, 2012 385 0 16 #17 Shiatama_0, Sep 26, 2015 Is this really a high score chase? It doesn't even show you if you have beaten you highscore as far as i can tell. That's the objective then, aside from unlocking all characters. I have to force-close the game and reopen for them to work again. I guess it's a memory issue, because I have a JB 4S with iOS 7.1.2, and those 512MB RAM sometimes give problems with memory-intensive games. Gameplay-wise, I went past the forest and into the desert. A great game which gives a sensation of progress in the adventure mode even though there isn't much. I wish there were some unlockables according to game progress, not only by watching videos. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #20 syntheticvoid, Sep 26, 2015 ^^^keep playing...
