The 1st two games were pretty great, this one seems like it's got a lot of great new additions aconfusedkender Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2012 1,362 122 63 Oil & Gas Kendermore, Ansalon #5 aconfusedkender, Sep 15, 2015 Hey TA, I will preface this by saying I beta tested ALL three of the games and I enjoyed this one the most. There are new additions and a few secret things that I won't spoil for you all. I beat them all and hope that everyone who liked the others will give this one a fair go. If you're like me then you find yourself immersed in the game from the get go. It's a great conclusion to the trilogy. I even got to name some of the achievements in the last one (; I hope any fan of turn based games like Heroes of Might and Magic gives this a go. It's an easy pick up and play. Good for smoke breaks and poop breaks all the same. Enjoy! playpanic Active Member Feb 27, 2013 42 0 0 #6 playpanic, Sep 16, 2015 Yep. aconfusedkender is our most legandary tester from TouchArcade. Braveland Pirate is the best in the trilogy. So if someone want to try Braveland series - third one is top notch. Roleki Well-Known Member Aug 11, 2012 432 0 0 #7 Roleki, Sep 16, 2015 I'm wondering how vast the "vast ocean" in the game's description is... Quite honestly, I found the last title in the series a little boring - it just didn't suck me in, but if there's really a "roaming the ocean" aspect to this, I might just have to grab it and see. I'm an old HoMM fan, but have never found much satisfaction in the various clones out there. Would like to hear a few imps from the TA regulars before deciding - you know who you are! heringer Well-Known Member Oct 2, 2011 807 0 0 #8 heringer, Sep 16, 2015 They really need to work on the art. Chiller ONE Well-Known Member Sep 20, 2008 1,615 29 48 Nurse Sweden #9 Chiller ONE, Sep 16, 2015 Agreed, the art looks incredible generic. The gameplay seems to be right up my alley though. Stustaff Well-Known Member Oct 28, 2010 101 0 0 #10 Stustaff, Sep 16, 2015 Disagree, I think it's good. Pivi Well-Known Member Feb 5, 2013 195 0 0 #11 Pivi, Sep 16, 2015 I disagree, it looks gorgeous. I never played the other Braveland games, but I'll get this one. aconfusedkender Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2012 1,362 122 63 Oil & Gas Kendermore, Ansalon #12 aconfusedkender, Sep 16, 2015 There is no "endless mode" part of the game if that's what you're looking for. You will encounter various things while traveling from one island to another though through the ocean. It's your call bud on the 3 bucks. I enjoyed them all and played start to finish on all three through beta. Roleki Well-Known Member Aug 11, 2012 432 0 0 #13 Roleki, Sep 16, 2015 I like the "hand-crafted" artwork too, but more importantly, how is the gameplay? Because in our style the game is pretty well, imho. 8BitFlash Well-Known Member May 19, 2015 182 0 0 #17 8BitFlash, Sep 17, 2015 Is this game worth getting if I have t played any of the other ones in the series? Love TBS games. playpanic Active Member Feb 27, 2013 42 0 0 #18 playpanic, Sep 17, 2015 Yes. This games are about independent heroes. Warrior, Wizard and Pirate. You can play them in any order if you want. LarryWP Well-Known Member Dec 19, 2013 89 0 0 #19 LarryWP, Sep 17, 2015 Looks like Kings Quest. Roleki Well-Known Member Aug 11, 2012 432 0 0 #20 Roleki, Sep 17, 2015 The last game had really small text and artwork on my iPhone 6+. Is this title any better? If so, I'll probably get it.
