McGuffin Well-Known Member Aug 30, 2010 54 0 0 #4 McGuffin, Sep 15, 2015 A gem I've been playing this for just shy of a week now, and I have to say, its fantastic. The battle system is deep, the choices you make are meaningful and the game is beautifully done. The only thing I think isn't quite up there is the localisation, as there's some horribad engrish to be had haha. Still, a miniscule issue in an otherwise solid package. And yes, the IAP is reasonable and there are plenty of ways you can build decks without dropping a dime. asaw2 Well-Known Member Aug 25, 2013 189 9 18 South korea #5 asaw2, Sep 15, 2015 It's already release for korean appstore. My First impression is good TCG for me. But mutant card, +1 card is too over powered, it's have strange card balance.. Too hard to make the card deck. And game contents is too small... Sorry for my bad english.. But seem to be really IAP intensive. So no its not that intensive to play the story mode.. maybe if you want to be very competitive in online matches you might need to consider investing some , i dunno,. but its the same with all card games edit: you get cards every time you level they give you free stuff every time something happens touchy85 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2015 1,616 1 38 #9 touchy85, Sep 15, 2015 Gameplay Video Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Tinsel Well-Known Member Dec 8, 2008 508 5 18 #10 Tinsel, Sep 15, 2015 Production values are off the chart and it actually looks fun to play. I want this one so bad. Is the only way to get access to this to make a new iTunes account for CA? I know there were instructions somewhere on these forums but I can't find them now. I'm loving the art style and presentation. The "moving" portraits are simply gorgeous. It feels modern and surprisingly runs silky smooth when transitioning from screen to screen. My only knock on it so far is that it feels like there were multiple teams who did the translation. The English is fine during some parts of the game and just plain terrible on others. The draft game mode is A++++ McGuffin Well-Known Member Aug 30, 2010 54 0 0 #14 McGuffin, Sep 16, 2015 Getting Cards My advice for getting cards is just to save up your gems and not buy things at full price. The daily quests give you heaps of gold and exp, while the more advanced ones give you gems as well. There are 2 types of daily quests, a constructed one where you can easily win using the starter deck you get for free, and a draft daily quest that you can play without owning any cards at all. Both are free to enter, costing only just energy, which recharges at a good clip. Story mode gives you cards while teaching you the ropes, and leveling up gives you access to new heroes (either outright, or allows you to unlock them with special conditions). Once you unlock the arena modes, you can register your deck, play a few rounds to level up your AI ghost and it can continue to fight for you even while you're away which is a neat little feature. For those of you who want live realtime PVP, the game has you covered too. You can play friendly matches as soon as you unlock the arena mode and at level 10 you can play ranked matches. After each non-story match you get to spin a roulette that gives you rewards as well. It starts off with only 1 sector filled, but as you play more matches it fills up the sectors with gold, energy, extra exp and the like. By the time you're done with a daily quest it should be fully filled and each spin is guaranteed to give you something. Its a great little system! Some daily quests also give you coupons, which give you a 10% discount on gem booster packs. You can also buy single cards with gold, of which you should have plenty after a day or two of playing. Really loving it so far! My character name is McGuffin. The voice over and polishness of this game just blew me off. Tip: always do the daily mission and at the end of it, u get to choose one card from a pack. If it happen to show one of the cards u need, just use 6gems to get another till U get it. Another way is to keep refilling energy and get a good placing in the arena and random arena. A placing in the platinum and gold ranking gives u a whole pack of cards. The gem used to refill the energy is worth it as it get u a full pack of cards. Have fun.
