Ridiculous concepts can only be carried off successfully if the control system tallies. Happy to report that here I think they've nailed in the only manner they could. For those who look at the screen shots and worry because they can't see any virtual buttons, I think they shouldn't. The controls are there - placing your finger/thumb on the screen with highlight 4 "hot points" on the slice of bread (one on each corner) - then moving your finger in the direction of one (or two) of those hot points will select them and pushing your finger further in that direction will then begin to move/flip the slice in that direction. Push your finger further adds more momentum/speed to the movement and you move. The controls are also "multi-touch" meaning that while one finger/thumb is holding the bread in one position, placing another finger/thumb will prepare and continue the bread's movement in that direction (almost like walking, but using fingers instead of legs)... The controls are precise enough to allow you to begin to flip and then hold the slice in that position before making the next move. There's a slight learning curve here because so many of us will be fighting "muscle memory" normally associated with using two fingers on the screen (one for movement and one for direction). Here it's all combined and is great. There is tilt but, as far as I can tell, only in changing ever slightly your viewpoint around the bread - there's certainly nothing dramatic or nauseating. There are on screen controls for changing your p.o.v. without changing the bread's movement. Hope this all helps. I'd say go for it. coolpepper43 ð® Spam Police ð Aug 31, 2012 4,615 7 38 On the toilet #12 coolpepper43, Sep 3, 2015 Omfg!!! We bought it on PC/Mac when it launched. And being Bossa fans could only presume this would be a huge cult classic. Just the different ways to cook the bread alone should linger with players for a long time. You try to get the bread toasted and keep the bread from getting gross. It's really clever, you have different missions for each level. You can explore and stuff but it's level based. You get a graded after you beat each level. I think the game needs some tweaking for the camera and controls. It's really cool. phred Well-Known Member Mar 21, 2010 271 3 18 #20 phred, Sep 3, 2015 Thanks! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
