There is the feel of Cubed Rally Racer here, and that's a good thing. The graphics are passable and controls are very tight. With that said, there's some issues to address. 1) The framerate is choppy on iphone 6+, and it starts to hurt my eyes as I play more. I can literally see the frames individually chugging along. It's barely passable as-is.....at least on my device. 2) The physics are a bit whacky. Sometimes my vehicle will hit a box or roadblock and 9/10 times, no problem....you'll just plow through. That 1/10 of the time, my vehicle goes airborn for no apparent reason other than a seemingly jaggy polygon catching the vehicle amd then flipping it around (usually into an unmovable object and to an instand run-ender). 3) The randomly generated levels sometimes don't work. I had a few instances where I was forced to take a jump (to clear an obstacle), and then upon landing, a jump over water immediately generates. The vehicle cannot recover fast enough to make the next jump, which instantly ends the run. With all this said, it is a fun game. The randomly generated material needs to flow better, and the framerate needs to be improved drastically. And for the physics used, they would be better suited to getting the back end out when changing lanes than flying through the air like a ragdoll. Def worth a try, and here's to hoping for improvements MrBloggy Active Member Aug 6, 2015 25 0 0 #3 MrBloggy, Aug 9, 2015 Thanks for playing through the game and improvements and updates will follow. Just to address a few points you have made. This has been tested on iPhone6+ and there is no issue with the frame rate. However the game can sometimes create this illusion if your eyes are focused too far ahead. Focus more and the car and everything is smooth again ;-) Physics need a little more refinement and will be in the next update. Point taken with the random generation. The idea behind some of these jumps and required speed was to have the players earn coins to upgrade to the faster cars. Your review / comments have been very helpful and I thank you for your time. All taken on board for the next update. Thanks chief78 Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2012 2,317 7 38 #4 chief78, Aug 9, 2015 It's always cool to see support from the dev's end. Glad to see this is a game that will continue to be refined and supported. I'm having fun with this, regardless of some of the fallbacks #### NOEN Well-Known Member Jul 31, 2012 3,245 0 0 U.S. #5 NOEN, Aug 9, 2015 Hmm. Checking this one out now. Love the look and direction this could be going. I thought this was going to be more like a "paco" without the reset, maybe with mfi. Thanks for the game tho MrBloggy Active Member Aug 6, 2015 25 0 0 #8 MrBloggy, Aug 11, 2015 Thanks "Cadillackills" glad you enjoyed the game. Thanks alburio Member Aug 12, 2015 10 0 0 student Guatemala #11 alburio, Aug 12, 2015 nice physics and style, i just wish you could move a little more freely MrBloggy Active Member Aug 6, 2015 25 0 0 #12 MrBloggy, Aug 14, 2015 Thanks 'alburio'. By freely you would like to position the car any where in the lanes? This would increase difficulty but we will consider your opinion. Thanks (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
