Has serious Lumines vibes, in terms of art and sound. Nails its claims of simple-yet-challenging. Definitely sending money their way. I loved the original Shibuya, I still have it on my phone and play it every so often. How great to have a newer, updated version. Here's hoping it has a few of the original tunes. I haven't played it in a few years but I'm sure it'll all come back to me, it's just like falling off a bicycle. skatter New Member Oct 24, 2013 3 0 0 #9 skatter, Jul 30, 2015 I actually bought the EP the original Shibuya got its music from, on the strength of that game. I'll be interested to see how this newer version is. Guise Well-Known Member Jul 10, 2009 2,027 14 38 #10 Guise, Jul 30, 2015 I couldn't disagree less, Andy! I really appreciate the kind words! Shibuya can be kind of a tricky one to convince people to try because it looks so simplistic, so we're hoping we can overcome that. The music was actually licensed, after a lot of listening and editing, from a stock music place, so I'm not sure the artists' work is available any other way, but I'll check. Feel free to friend me on the iOS or Android leaderboards. So far I'm still at the top, but that'll change. Here's a gameplay video of scoring about 7,000 on one of the faster speeds using my weird two-hand style: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgk-MPiQWPk Brettedwards Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2015 75 0 0 #14 Brettedwards, Jul 31, 2015 Thanks for your efforts. I like this game a lot was getting a bit sick of the match 3 games. dydiec Member May 20, 2012 15 0 1 #15 dydiec, Aug 1, 2015 Loving this game! I loved Lumines, and this game reminds me a lot of it. I bought the lifetime unlock of DLC for $5 to not only support the dev, but the all the different skins are a nice bonus on top of it Great job, dev! Keep up the great work and hope to see what other DLC you make available for it in the future. I'm hooked! scottbailey Active Member Nov 2, 2013 31 0 0 #16 scottbailey, Aug 2, 2015 This is a great game. Polished production, great music. I'm having a ton of fun, thank you! dasaff1 Well-Known Member Oct 25, 2010 88 1 8 #17 dasaff1, Aug 2, 2015 I'm really having trouble with the 10-4x combo challenge. Any tips? jplewe Member Jul 30, 2015 5 0 0 #18 jplewe, Aug 2, 2015 Last edited: Aug 2, 2015 The most frequent tip is to try getting used to a faster speed. If you're surviving your current speed, try bumping it up a notch and you'll get more chances. Also, try the tutorials and practice mode if you need to work on your strategy! Edit: one other tip -- only match two of each color, then separate them with a different color. If you have three or more of one color it'll take away space you need to get a 4x.
