I'll give this a shot although I did just DL the Adventure Time one as well. I'm a sucker for match 3's. Most creatures are a pushover once you level up a few times. The companion creatures are a nice touch but do eventually tire out. I like that mechanic since it forces you to try out all the different creatures available. Feed them and they revive back to full stamina or you just have to wait. I thought it was well balanced until the final three levels. Suddenly the game difficulty skyrockets without reason... 1 or 2 hit kills are common. The lvl 4 store is almost impossible to unlock without putting in hours and hours of serious grinding. It takes 5k of wood and 5k of stone to unlock. On average each level gives you around 25-35 pieces of wood and stone (more if you find chests). Do the math on that!! Buying the gold coin IAPs is completely useless. Playing through the game will give you more than enough gold to just buy the best top weapons and armor at each store level. You never have to buy higher level weapons incrementally. I'm at the end of the game and I still have 30k in coins with nothing to spend them on. The game doesn't allow purchasing potions or creature food etc unless you use real currency. Why give us so many coins if I can't use them on one time consumables? The game is fun but not very original. It definitely needs balancing towards the end levels and better store options. My IAP purchase to support the dev failed to go through and I was still charged for it. Oh well, can't do anything about it. Average game. I like the game, but repeatedly find that certain matches don't trigger anything (for example, matching three paws does not lead to the pet doing anything)--known bug?
