I saw it on AppShopper yesterday. Looks different and different is good. My credits and my little backlog (imagine, The Executive is still untouched) need a little break until next week. The reason why i'm posting this is to bring it back on top for a short moment, because it looks very intriguing, and that's coming from a gamer who would never touch (sorry fans) a boring gamebook or suchlike. I didn't watch too much of the video (spoilers) but the levels seemed very short, well in the beginning at least. Do they get much longer and/or more complicate? orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #8 orangecan, Jul 10, 2015 It looks and sounds great but the description says for kids 6-8 which is the only thing putting me off. merrickal Well-Known Member Dec 15, 2012 52 0 6 #9 merrickal, Jul 11, 2015 Perhaps, but it sounds and looks like it could be a charming 6-8 y.o. game. If it lasts up to 8-10 hours to complete then I'll bite. orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #10 orangecan, Jul 13, 2015 Last edited: Jul 13, 2015 Gone down to 1.99! I'm still not sure - getting great reviews on the App Store but they're all saying their kids love it and it's a brilliant game for helping them learn to read. Not sure it's have any appeal for me. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #11 metalcasket, Jul 13, 2015 I bought it earlier on in the week and played through it in one sitting. Considering I'm 30, it took about 40 mins to get through completely and I don't regret it, but if you have kids or plan on having any, pick this up and put it on the shelf. It's definitely for kids and not adults. merrickal Well-Known Member Dec 15, 2012 52 0 6 #12 merrickal, Jul 13, 2015 Hmmm not bad... for kids. Bought it and played it. A charming little interactive story. It's nice, but not much gaming involved. It largely involves you reading the story with your finger, which controls the character in turn. Nice for kids, a short read-along of classic fairy tales all jumbled up together. Despite being much older I kind of enjoyed it though I kept thinking this game could do with a narrator, kind of miss the Bastion treatment of storylines. orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #13 orangecan, Jul 14, 2015 Thanks for the feedback all - think I'll give it a pass (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
