It seems like OFDP Mobile and every one of its clones on iOS just can't have a permanent unlock, but something to remove energy PLUS 20 currencies and shit. FF was released in May, so the turn around on a clone seems fairly quick. But I still like them. Last year some of my favorite games came from Backflip Studios. Shoot my girl and I played Spell Fall each for nearly a year. Loved that game. chief78 Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2012 2,317 7 38 #17 chief78, Jul 2, 2015 Last edited: Jul 2, 2015 Ok. So this is the same exact style of game as Fatal Fight and Kung Fury. So far I've played a dozen matches (the energy bar maxes at 5, but you get free refills until you reach level 5...not there yet). As far as I can tell, you only play as Snakeyes (and he appears to be the Sigma Six version if I'm remembering correctly). I've encountered 4 enemy types so far, and have fought in the initial Jungle stage and one on the U.S.S. Flag. There are 2 types of currency, gold coins for ranking up and GI Joe symbols that are used to buy card packs. Card packs contain weapons (haven't seen anything else drop from them, but there are probably perks such as 10% attack or things of that nature). Nothing here has not already been done in Fatal Fight. The graphics aren't as well done as that game, and the animations are baren. Also, all enemies are the same color (Red Ninjas, which in the context of the GI Joe universe works), so the only indication for different attack patterns on enemies is the sidebar showing which tap direction(s) to input. As a F2P, Joe fans might like it for a short while. Otherwise (unfortunately), Fatal Fight is a much better package (and can be played for free as well). touchy85 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2015 1,616 1 38 #18 touchy85, Jul 2, 2015 Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Ragn4rok 74 Well-Known Member Oct 9, 2014 264 0 0 #19 Ragn4rok 74, Jul 2, 2015 I grew up with GI Joe. I remember coming home from school and watching it and Transformers cartoons in the afternoon (I'm now 41 lol). And of course I loved the action figures. One of my best Christmas presents was the GI Joe F-15 with Ace...awesome! But as for this game, I just couldn't get into this sadly. I REALLY wish someone would make a great GI Joe game for mobile but for me, this isn't it. LordShad0wz Well-Known Member Nov 19, 2014 4,280 1 38 #20 LordShad0wz, Jul 3, 2015 My big issue?
