I have high hopes for it seeing how much I used to love Happy Street. baldeagle86 Well-Known Member Dec 21, 2013 737 0 0 #4 baldeagle86, Jun 30, 2015 Feeling super excited too!! I'll post impressions here in a bit baldeagle86 Well-Known Member Dec 21, 2013 737 0 0 #5 baldeagle86, Jun 30, 2015 So far really fun, obviously very similar to happy street so if you liked that you're in luck. Same funny dialogue, has a worms/gun bound style battle scene. It's automatic shooting where you aim where you want the damage to hit, with some special power shots/moves. Pretty fun! Has an energy system for battles, haven't fully finished the tutorial yet but you are also building up your island and adding different crewmates/upgrading your ship parts too. Tried it on my phone & iPad and it is game enter account shared across devices so that's always great too! Same art style, same font for dialogue, same sense of humor. I'm still in the beginning stages, but I can already tell I'm gonna get hooked on this one. There seems to be a lot more to do in this one. Like BE said, there's building/upgrading your ship, weapons, ect, getting crew members, building/upgrading your HQ, and even building up other island's marketplaces and stuff. Then there's exploring, opening up the map, fighting, and earning EXP. There's just tons to do. I'm not sure about all the F2P shenanigans yet, but I know Happy Street was PRETTY fair, so hopefully this will be. I know it has dual currency. Coins and Flooz. Just like in HS. I'm pretty sure if you dug Happy Street, chances are you will dig this. If you have a Canadian account, it's worth the download for sure. kenken11 Well-Known Member Sep 29, 2012 1,808 5 38 #7 kenken11, Jun 30, 2015 Super fun and polished game. The narrative is humorous and the monster, ship and characters is pretty cute. Only drawback is the timers which is common among all free online game. Gonna play this as a long term game. I downloaded this opened it and got an error you need an Internet connection to play (even tho I'm at home on wifi) and just deleted it. there's enough great games on iOS these days I don't need online only games. It's a lot of fun. For me it seems like a cross between the old NgMoco Godfinger and Boom Beach. So far I have not had to use the IAP. It is used primarily to speed up timers, supplement coins to buy things or for treasure chests that contain random items designed to help speed up the game. These are the kinds of IAP's I am ok with. I just had another player show up on my map so if he starts to steal all my stuff, then I may delete it as I am not a fan of that aspect in Clash of Clans, Boom Beach or King of Thieves. We'll see. I am having a blast and I think you guys will like it. moleki Well-Known Member Patreon Gold May 22, 2009 585 4 16 #17 moleki, Jun 30, 2015 There's no stealing of others resources. You can start a new one every 24hrs In arena, you can use the tickets if you want to use a boat with a cooldown. The cooldown only affect the boats in arena. NOEN Well-Known Member Jul 31, 2012 3,245 0 0 U.S. #19 NOEN, Jul 1, 2015 Still playing the heck out of this game. Doesn't look like I'm as far as some of you seeing how I haven't heard of "crusade" yet. I've been grinding a lot and upgrading. It's still a really cool game. It seems to be more battling than city building, which is pretty cool. I would have liked a little more options on the island building part, but I'm still early in the game. Plus, Happy Street started pretty slow if I remember correctly. All in all, it's still an excellent game. Really, the only downside is the timer for battles, but it seems to fill up fairly quick. ramzarules Well-Known Member Sep 13, 2014 2,112 128 63 Greece #20 ramzarules, Jul 1, 2015 i would have liked a promo code to download and play this also in a non CA account, but it seems i'm not getting one (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
