Haven't played a time management game like this for quite a while. A bit of a girly theme but so far it seems pretty good. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #4 ste86uk, Aug 24, 2015 So spent a few hours on it and so far it's actually pretty good. It's free with the first 10 levels free as it says but then you pay to unlock the rest of the game which was £7.99 a bit steep for me as I thought it would be more like £2.99 or so. Anyway after that it seems no iap at all so hasn't gone down the route of diner dash and it's free to play fun....I've never actually played any of these delicious Emily's games apparently this is the 8th and through all of them it's a story following her life. I thought that would be pretty boring but it's actually a nice touch and adds more to the game than simply endless levels. The graphics are crisp and look good even on my iPad Air 2 and the game has 90 levels, no idea if this dev updates with more or just makes a new game though. But if you like time management games in the vein of diner dash, Sally's spa, roads of Rome and all such games then this is certainly worth a look. Actually spent more time on this tonight than the 4 other games I purchased recently. But it looks like they've put up the prices - Emily's True Love and Emily's Childhood Memories aren't free, so you can see the price history on AppShopper, in February they increased the price a lot. I don't know if there is any way to see the price history of IAP for the other games. £7.99 is probably more similar to what they sell these games for on PC (I assume they are PC games), and to be honest it's probably a reasonable price given how long they take to complete. I will give this one a try. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #6 ste86uk, Aug 24, 2015 I was guessing it was to match PC prices possibly but all of the reviews I see often complain of the price increase for the games. But still although expensive on iOS terms it seems worth it, I already spent about 2 hours on it I think and have completed 22 out of 90 levels. Plus it's good and time goes quickly playing. stlredbird Well-Known Member May 21, 2009 1,354 0 36 #7 stlredbird, Aug 25, 2015 Finally! A game that reinforces a women's place in the home! /sarcasm ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #8 ste86uk, Aug 25, 2015 It's a good point though as most of these types of games I've played even with different themes and styles nearly all of the time the avatar is a woman. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #9 ste86uk, Aug 30, 2015 Just sat and played and 4 hours flew by, I've probably spent around 10 hours on this game and have completed 40 levels and 20 challenge levels. There are still 20 more levels to do and about 10 more challenge levels. I would think more people would play this, it's a great time management game and much better than the recent free diner dash rubbish. Completely premium even if it is more expansive than many apps it's well worth it. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #10 ste86uk, Aug 31, 2015 After another long session of many hours I've finally completed the whole game....now I don't know what to do with myself. It feels silly to pay for the older ones after doing the newest. Especially considering they have all had price rises. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
