I opened my regular TA site "newest games and drops" and another instabuy (for me) showed up - Piloteer. I went to my swiss store and was able to buy it right away. The interface with the upgrades confuses me a bit as there are a lot of attributes for each weapon and I am not sure what is good or not, but I do truly appreciate the detail that went into including that into the game. The background on level 1 was a challenge for me. Many times I kept going after things that were in the background cause I thought they were enemies. I think the game would be easier if played against a black background, but I can understand if that would be boring. Overall, a great addition to the shoot em up genre. Def worth the price of admission. mcamp Well-Known Member Dec 17, 2010 61 2 8 #19 mcamp, Jun 25, 2015 I'm disappointed. This is the ugliest shmup I've played in recent memory; the background is way too busy, and just makes it difficult to focus on the action. The ships and objects just look bad. If they were going for a PSOne-era budget-shooter ascetic, they nailed it. And the menus ... Ugh. I really wanted to like this one, but I just ... don't ... can't ... mcamp Well-Known Member Dec 17, 2010 61 2 8 #20 mcamp, Jun 25, 2015 Just re-downloaded the first game for comparison, having not played it in years. It looks WAY better than this new one, and the backdrops are far less cluttered and distracting. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
