Just reading the description it's as if the developers picked inside my tiny little brain all the right keywords to make me utter: Instabuy!
Worked for me too! Just did the first 7 challenges. Pretty tough to fly, but that's the whole point. Seems inspired by that backflip game, which didn't impress me, but this is super fun. Whitaker is a pro.
Yeah. I'm finding this a bit slow / unengaging, tbh. The physics are basically there (with some monumentally generous tolerances on landings), the challenges (when actually challenging) seem more about good luck than judgment, and - after a ten min pause - I'm not feeling unduly inspired to go back to it. Have got as far as unlocking the second area, fwiw, which does introduce moving targets. (An interesting development). The first area rapidly felt v small. Particularly given there's only a handful of things you can really do with one core dynamic (control l/r boosters to fly straight / pull one of two stunts / land on something). Might be more engaging with sound on, but then my wife would slap me. Edit: tbf, I've not got buyers remorse. It's just all falling a bit meh.
As i thought, even before i read the last post, you'll love it or not, simple as that. I'm in the loveboat and i can't think of any other game, where i was so relaxed but wanted to throw my iphone against the next wall at the same time...must be the piano music. The controls are great and responsive, the visuals are amazing (cardboard fan here, that's why), nice and funny little background story and the very fast replay is given. Imho, the only luck in this game comes from the very generous landings (phew, thanks Devs), otherwise your skills are tested hard with the ever growing challenges. Two things i wish: a bigger replay button (better yet, simply touch the screen everwhere) and an overall leaderboard for all the timed challenges. This would give me some replay value. But, maybe, the Devs have already something bigger and timebased in their backhand for a possible update, who knows. Edit: i'm very thankful for the inverted controls option. Wasn't obvious in the settings right away.
The Rocke-who? Have to pick this up today, massive fan of The Rocketeer (RIP James Horner) and Rocket Ranger.
amazing game. just amazing! sounds, music, graphics and of course gameplay is just amazing. can't stop playing this thing. BUY IT NOW EVERYONE.
The art is actually quite nice. I got 47 medals - the part where you have to land on all the objects in a row - then had to call it quits for the night. The physics def remind me of Backflip Madness. Really tricky at first but very doable with practice. The everyplay could make for some hilarious videos. Really getting a kick outta this!
Touch. I'm finding this game quite captivating, and it's been a joy learning the ropes. Highly recommended!
I understand this game only just came out so please consider fixing the iPod touch 5g crash bug please. It constantly crashes and I attempted rebooting my device numerous times resulting in failure. Otherwise awesome game.
So fun. Bought it just because of how much I loved Pivvot and I am not disappointed!! Awesome game and super challenging!
