It's a cross between old school Galaga, but with added SHMUP flavor spliced in. Ship is upgradable with "pods" and crystals collected during battle. Control is spot on with a adjustment to the slider area. If you love Galaga or SHMUPS, you'll love this one. I'm having a blast with this one so far. coolpepper43 ð® Spam Police ð Aug 31, 2012 4,615 7 38 On the toilet #6 coolpepper43, Jun 16, 2015 How is this a hack n slash shooter? sugimulm Well-Known Member Aug 28, 2010 2,457 46 48 The last time zone for iOS game releases :( #7 sugimulm, Jun 16, 2015 Not sure, I'm early into it, but yeah, forgot about that one in the description, lol. After opening the game, the additional downloads will blow this up to an installed size of 526 MB. Share on SNS (whatever this is) everyday (24 hours timer) to receive tickets. With these you can win ships, parts or weapons, but you also can buy tickets with in-game coins, which seem to be earned at a decent rate, i say so though i'm only five stages in. Before my first play i was taken by my hand to do this, upgrade that, equip this...oh how i hate this design. The classic old style is existent, that's why the usually black bars on top/bottom are filled with (in my eyes) distracting colored stars. Gives me an additional hard time because while playing, the enemies shots are difficult to be seen. Too much distracting things all over. Those bad and nothing showing screenshots from Namco should have told me some, but in the end i'm only an old Galaga fan, too. After re-dl and starting my device, the ship didn't get stuck anymore while moving and shooting. I had to set the ships' movement to the fastest out of three option. (Edit: i still get stuck once in a while!) I keep playing for a bit more to see how it turns out with all those upgrading possibilities and the little easy boss fights, yet, but my first impressions were only: Why did i buy this... Ah yeah, no Gamecenter, again. Edit: i forgot the usual consumables up to five items (shot increase, magnet, etc.) you can choose/buy per game. somedumbgamer Well-Known Member May 4, 2013 709 0 0 #13 somedumbgamer, Jun 16, 2015 Thanks for the imps! Bluejunco Active Member Nov 3, 2012 40 0 0 #17 Bluejunco, Jun 16, 2015 Galaga is my favorite but I'm still waiting for a good version. I wouldn't buy anything from Namco anymore because that don't keep it up to date. Most of there games have bad reviews and they don't fix the issues. This would be a total waste of money in my opinion MonkeyChunks Well-Known Member Oct 27, 2012 78 0 6 #18 MonkeyChunks, Jun 17, 2015 Space Dandy never seemed like a popular anime. That's why it consists of under 20 episodes. I hate anime in general, but there are good ones. Space Dandy isn't one of them. It's just a weird anime that pays homages to many other older animes and has sexist stereotypes. MonkeyChunks Well-Known Member Oct 27, 2012 78 0 6 #20 MonkeyChunks, Jun 17, 2015 Actually, because some were wondering why Galaga and this cartoon are combined into this game. I believe it is because Namco partially or fully sponsored the cartoon Space Dandy. I remember clearly that in the credits of the cartoon's last episode Namco is prominently displayed.
