I'm really not sure what to make of this, but the website looks legit and it could be pretty good. Make sure you pick the right version for your device as it's seperate iPad/iPhone apps.
Looks good the graphics look good I wonder how the compare to modern combat 5 and I also wonder how the controls work I wonder if they are same as modern combat 5
Played for a few min.... Not a smooth experience. Controls are delayed and not accurate. Graphics are not what I was expecting either. This is a very chunky game IMO. With all the flaws of MC5....this is no MC5.
There's no real risk involved, they just happen to be a relative young company based in Mumbai so they are a relative unknown. They formed in 2011, have a 12 man team and 30 or so apps already released on various platforms. They are not a scam or a flash in the pan type and they are certainly ambitious and have built this with UE4. It has a 4.5 rating on Google play where it's free to download with initial level and iap for full unlock. It has gone through a roughy 9-12 month development period and multiplayer is in late stage development for it. I don't really have a recommendation on it one way or another yet as it is a little bit underdeveloped, not by much but a bit, but it certainly is a solid enough base on which to build on and multiplayer appears to be well in advance but not mainstream ready yet. I'd consider their previous apps as training and this as a push to mainstream for a previous unknown. Dunno how it'll play out yet but the financing appears solid and the intent is certainly there so I wouldn't rule them out just because they are an unknown. It probably would be better for most to wait for an update or two to the current build but in saying that, I see no risk in this one but I would definitely recommend latest devices and iOS only as it is UE4 and I'd expect a few stability problems that would need ironing out. It looks pretty good and has potential. I'm just not sure if it's there yet. Indicators are that every effort will be made to get there though. Edit. I should also note that the version I saw was not the release build and I can only go on that earlier build so my impressions will not be as up to date as this build and it's unknown to me as to what improvements were made between then and now as I haven't had time yet to get this release version. I'm quite looking forward to seeing the planned mutilplayer added at a later date though so will probably catch up with it then. I'd estimate (a guess but based on previous indicators) 6-8 weeks on the optimistic side.
Right? It's one big long ass title "GameEon Infotech Private Limited" like "Chief Operating First-Class Food Preparation Technician".
Hey forum, Allow me to introduce myself. I am Nikhil Malankar, the programmer of Special Ops, and I as Rip73 rightly mentioned that we're a new company trying to figure out the gaming industry. Special Ops was our first attempt to make an FPS game and we got many things wrong. However, we're taking all this feedback into consideration and planning updates as well as a multiplayer mode for the game. To give a little bit of correction to Rip73's reply I would like to tell you guys that we're a 12 member team and for this project we had kept a team of only 5 people because of budget constraints wherein I was the ONLY PROGRAMMER. This game was developed in 7 months, we started working on this game in October 2014. I am thankful to all you guys for providing us an honest review after downloading our game because this has helped us realize our mistakes. We are a new company and this game was made entirely by a team of only 5 people, all in our early 20s We have a lot to learn and we have got amazing feedback from people for this game as well as some criticism. Your review gave us some really good insight in what went wrong with the game. I agree with you guys on the points that our game has its fair share of issues primarily because we are a small team of developers just exploring this field and making a career out of it. We chose Unreal Engine 4 since it is one of the best but we weren't able to use it to its full potential since we are in a learning phase. We tried to make the graphics as good as possible from our side. May be this isn't good for the current times but we will improvise on this over time. All in all, I appreciate your honest review for our game and thank you for the same since we got to learn a lot from this which will help us plan good updates and improvements for our game. Special thanks to Rip73 for taking out time, researching about us and giving an explanation to this forum that we're not a scam Regards, Nikhil Malankar Chairman & CEO GameEon
Lol yeah, we've got a pretty long developer name. Actually we had registered our Apple Developer account with the official name of our company on paper but later on came to know that the name can't be changed!
