I liked the first, although it was pretty basic. This new one adds so much. Can't wait to play more. If anybody is familiar with the snes game lufia or its sequel it's just like the treasure cave from that. anabolicMike Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2013 302 0 0 #5 anabolicMike, May 1, 2015 I don't know if the first one had this story, I always ignored the story in it but this one kinda has it right there so you notice. Which is cool. Anyway, this story is pretty much the same as the story in the game I've been developing lol. That's funny, I use a tower cause I ripped off azure dreams though, well tower but then started switching it to something else but that's a secret. Oh I can't wait to play more of this. So far pretty good! I wonder if the Dev comes on here! Maybe I'll email him and ask. dustinaux Active Member Jan 25, 2014 28 1 3 #6 dustinaux, May 1, 2015 Hi there! The first game had very little story but it was definitely more of a focus with this one. Still not necessary to complete the game but definitely there for players that seek it out! aceyprime Well-Known Member Apr 23, 2010 293 0 0 #7 aceyprime, May 1, 2015 Looks really interesting - I like the graphical style. What's the loot like? anabolicMike Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2013 302 0 0 #8 anabolicMike, May 1, 2015 This is you? What's up? I enjoyed the first one don't get me wrong but this one is way way better. I just spent the last hour on the toilet cause I was so enthralled. My legs hurt so bad now. Anyway, quick questions haha. First: what did you build this in? If I may ask of course. Second: how do you split a stack of items? Let's say I want to craft a potion. I can't use two of the same item cause the whole stack move over., So if I have 7 Ambers, the 7 ambers will go in the slot not just one. I want to use the same item twice over hah! Third: what happens if you enchant an item you already had enchanted? Does it add to the item or replace? Maybe it just bring is up a smidge? I had another one I felt was super important but don't remember at the moment! Lol. Keep up the fantastic work! If I missed a help that would answer all my questions let me know heheheh dustinaux Active Member Jan 25, 2014 28 1 3 #9 dustinaux, May 1, 2015 Yep, someone had mentioned these forums earlier so I was going to get here and talk a bit about the game. The sequel is bascially everything the first should have been. The first was literally my first commercial game I made so it's a bit rough around the edges! The highest honor for a mobile game! I used the HaxeFlixel for crossplatform availability. It's built on top of OpenFL which is 99% of what I ended up actually using. I didn't use any of the flixel framework classes for graphics and such. You need two different ingredients to craft a potion so you can't split stacks. You can however get around this for enchanting items by doing one enchantment at a time to double up though. Items can always hold at max two enchantments, you just have to choose which enchantments to replace if you enchant again. raravan Well-Known Member May 18, 2014 829 38 28 #10 raravan, May 1, 2015 must say, this game is perfect. wow, LIKE A DRUG FOR ME! ashmike3 Well-Known Member May 15, 2014 660 9 18 #11 ashmike3, May 1, 2015 I might dive in here. What are the controls? Virtual stick, touch to move? Duke12 Well-Known Member Oct 25, 2013 1,018 41 48 #12 Duke12, May 1, 2015 Touch to move dustinaux Active Member Jan 25, 2014 28 1 3 #13 dustinaux, May 1, 2015 Yes, touch to move with pathfinding. Your character will avoid all monsters unless you tap their exact square, so you don't have to tap multiple times around them, just tap the treasure behind them as long as there's an open path. predator8u Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2013 94 0 0 #14 predator8u, May 1, 2015 Always get a great feeling when a game I kickstarted turns out fantastic. The first enchanted cave was super, can't wait for the steam release. I give myself 2 weeks until I cave in and buy the iOS version also. Wish the character model changed with new equipment, but good fun so far Tulki Well-Known Member Oct 27, 2014 150 1 18 #17 Tulki, May 2, 2015 I remember playing the first one on Kongregate a lot, and it was a ton of fun so this has me interested. That skill tree looks like Path of Exile's Noticed this app is universal - does it have any sort of save syncing? iCloud support? ashmike3 Well-Known Member May 15, 2014 660 9 18 #18 ashmike3, May 2, 2015 Not that I've seen. There's no saving, just keeps progress, unless you die then reset to before you died Puke Aces Well-Known Member Feb 12, 2014 238 0 0 Here and there (but not everywhere) #19 Puke Aces, May 2, 2015 Oh god I waited to play this game on iOS ever since I played the browser version dustinaux Active Member Jan 25, 2014 28 1 3 #20 dustinaux, May 2, 2015 No save syncing/iCloud support, just local saves to individual devices.
