Hi Everybody! Please check out our new game for Apple Watch called "Mu - Watch Pet". The user has to keep a cute blue blob (called "Mu") alive by maintaining 3 stats: Energy, Fitness, and Fun. These stats are increased by assigning different tasks to the pet, which cost coins in the game (coins are gained by putting Mu to work). As we started work on Mu, we thought about how to modernize the pet-game genre since it has evolved little since Tamagotchi days. So we explored elements like leveling up, resource management, and different algorithms to affect the stats of the game. The game seems like a simple pet game but it is more complex and requires strategy to keep the pet healthy and happy. Mu - Watch Pet is fully played through the Apple Watch. Users are expected to return to the game throughout the day for quick 10-15 second interactions in which they assign Mu different tasks.
